My dad is one of those americans who ask do you support those terrorist? When he asked this while i was playing the muslim cover for where is the love. I asked him who are the terrorists the children and innocent people being bombed and displaced from their homes or the people killing the kids and stealing land meanwhile blaming hamas when hamas isnt in the west bank. Palestinian churches canceled Christmas because "Jesus would be in the rubble". It drives me crazy the level of Islamophobia that literally erases multiple victims.
From the river too the sea is not antisemitic. however it is chanted by some(a minority) who absolutely do mean it in an antisemitic way. Which is why scholars like Norman Ficklstine recommend not using it. To avoid giving ammunition the enemy can use against us. Not sure if I agree with norm on that or not, but it is worth considering. Free Palestine 🇵🇸
@Shoutinthewind I actually like Norm, but I disagree on this point. This is not an antisemitic trope or slur that was born to villify Jewish people. If it was, I might agree. This is a slogan of freedom and resistance to colonialism. If the West and Israel didn't create terror groups from their occupying and colonizing behavior, then they wouldn't be able to blame them. This is why BB has funded Hamas in the past. Because without Hamas, he's too violent for his own people. We're policing response to major oppression instead of policing oppression. It's so backwards it's evil and insane.
@@Shoutinthewind Focus on separating antisemitism from people who aren't antisemitic. That requires definition and appropriate lack of bias. Seeing your persecution everywhere is a complex, especially when you're the only one in the convo upholding apartheid.
