- Hi Au Pairs! I am an ex au pair and a new mom, hoping to be able to help you with any au pair struggles you might be facing. This video will give you advice on how to figure out whether you are doing too much cleaning and how to best discuss it with your family if it should be the case. Hopefully, it will change your situation for the better.
We offered our au pair extra pay if she agreed to clean our home once a week. It was a win win. We did not have to hire yet another person to our home and the au pair got more pocket money. Everything was of course very clear on the contract before any decision was made.
First of all educate host families so they would NOT ask stupid questions like cleaning after them. As an Au pair I wouldn't like to respond or explain on such stupid demands.

These is great advice to all, who are looking for aupair job, u know its good to have through host family agency..😃😃 i mean always come throught agency, great video,bad advantage can happen anywhere for aupair job,, how much is the pay for aupair job/ hours ?? Any week off
