  • Mid July and the gardens at this flower farm evolve through the year so there are plenty of jobs to do as well as cut flowers to admire. This clip shows the kinds of flowers you might find your local flower farmer offering if you're thinking of ordering seasonal wedding flowers grown by a flower farmer near you. And enjoy views of the maturing wildflower meadow as well as details of pricking out biennials while bed clearing begins to make room for next spring's crops. It's never dull here on our flower farm. You're very welcome for this little tour.

I'm so glad to hear that your Dahlia blooms are also slow this year. Thank you for sharing your garden highs and lows which makes this channel so relevant and compelling Georgie! 🥰

From St. Louis Mo USA. Watching your channel is a joy! It has encouraged me to take a hand wrap bouquet class at a nursery/ studio near me. It was very hard!! Enjoyed it but didn’t really get the hand motion. You have also encouraged me to bring in small bouquets each week since spring to fondly look at in the house. Thanks for what you do, teach and encourage us.

Your videos always bring me such joy. They are educational ,yet soothing at the same time. Who would of thought, that watching someone "just" garden would be so relaxing and enjoyable.

I want to thank you so very much for two tips in particular. First, the apron. Wearing the apron with my tools, paper bags for gathering seeds, and my phone help me work as I see opportunity rather than having to return later. Second, the needle nose sharp dainty nips. I use the nips at every turn. I am amazed at how simplified picking up on these have made gardening.

Lovely tour thank you Georgie. Your biennials are doing much better than mine. I sowed mine early June and very patchy germination from all of them. Seeds came from Higgledy last year, don't know if I should have bought fresh seed, or whether I should just sow again with the same seed? Wallflowers were first up but patchy and still small, then a few foxgloves which are still minute, nothing from Hesperis or Sweet Williams. Honesty are now coming up quite evenly but haven't even got true leaves yet. Not sure if it is seeds, compost or me to blame? I sowed all the same biennials last year for the first time and have so enjoyed all their flowers this year, was really looking forward to them next year but not looking good at the moment 😢

Always best to use fresh seed if you can - very odd season - try moving trays to different position and VERRRrY weak feed w seaweed solution x
