Hating on a 16 year-old girl is wild at your big age. KG is very talented and a hard worker her consistent improvement and ability to take criticism and fix problems really impressed me personally unlike some other contestants which improved one week, but then went back to their old habits the next week but I’m sure those things will be fixed and we’ll see all the girls shine one day

Frr like, it's okay to not be pleased with the final line-up and yes, other contestants might have deserved to be there, but to be mad and disagree that she's in the group won't change anything, the group is done and no member will be added or removed, KG has improved in so many ways and the hatred they have against her is so forced, she's talented even if she prefers her guitar, her dancing is just fine and she's not the first nor last idol who's weak in dancing

Yes let’s not subscribe to immature Kpop reactions CZcams, he can put in words more respectful towards KG the girl has dream and she work her ass off and she earn it, and here this guy said he’s salty of her being in the group because Christina not? I don’t hate any of the girls.. for the one who couldn’t make it you can support them in their future activities, no need to put down another member that made it. Kaylee being that good at such a young age shows how high her IQ is. She understands things way more than I did when I was twelve I think.

im super upset that christina didnt make it in the final group, and i also wasnt sold on the final lineup either but honestly i feel like every single one of them had their moment in this video and they all grew in terms of skill. i personally love kg in this group she brings a different vocal color in the team and shes so hard working and it shows, ofc i say this respecting all of your opinions and views as well but this is coming from someone who wasnt the biggest kg or kendall fan at first but idk something changed and they look like they fit the group really well!

Wasn’t shocked KG made it simply because of her vocals. As for dancing she won’t be the first or last idol that debuts who’s weak in one area.
And it seems a little unfair to me, for example, some people wanted Cristina in cuz of dancing even though she couldn't sing as well. So it's like the opposite problem. I can't listen to dancing in my headphones, lol.
The keyword he used was “trajectory”. Aka potential or rather rate of improvement. KG’s bball background def helps with the dance. She was improving the fastest of everyone. Unfortunate that Christina didn’t get more time to showcase her vocal improvement….which is harder to do since your not singing all the performance like dancing is.

I wasn't really thinking of Gina much during A2K, but I was devastated when she wasn't selected. Guess I had automatically assumed she'd make the whole time.
KG’s dance is great in their live stages. She’s really improved in her dance.
I like the fact that they're bringing more color and diversity into K-pop music it may be hard to accept at the moment but they're visuals does not stop their talent❤😊

Idk guys, KG was punching above her weight class in terms of dance in their live shows. Her progress in dancing is exponential even
Kaylee was 12 only during the USA arc of the show! Later in the season she was 13 and her 14th birthday is next month already. I think she looks younger than she is but she will debut with the same age as many other idols, it's pretty common to debut at 14 in Kpop. Now that you watched this, please check the other 2 songs of this project and their performances on music shows (Music Bank and Show Music Core)!
TRUST ME alot of people thought KG would be a better solo, but at the end plus the KR MUSIC show performance (which they sang live) KG feel like she fit in.
KG improved and PROVED HERSELF TO BE THERE. all of the girls are talented.
I think the girls said that it's been 2-3 months since the show ended and them starting their training for the new arrangement of lines and choreography for this pre-debut single.
I can't stand the hate against KG. You can support your biases but don't put others down. KG improved so much in dancing and proved herself, she'll go far.
I mean to be honest I was hesitant of KG and Kendall until I saw them perform on Music Bank…. KG improved dance wise and Kendall did all around!
This MV is actually pretty personal to all the girls because it’s representing where they were at before joining the A2K survival show
Camila: going to nursing school
Kendall: artist
Lexus: ballerina
Savanna: gymnast
Kaylee: was always auditioning for things
KG: a singer/songwriter
So it really is a beautiful message and for a lot of us fans who have been there on their journey since the first episode of A2K, it was definitely an emotional one bc they have come a long way. If you’re interested, I do highly recommend watching the survival show whether it be on your own or reacting to it. It’s just so amazing and the talent and improvement especially is just insane ❤

You only saw what JYP and the show wanted to show you. If you noticed, JYP very rarely showed any mistakes and never highlighted them. There could be big reasons why the members you wanted didn’t make it.
Yup, that's what I keep saying. The show is highly edited. All this hype and bias they show is part of their plan. Get people wilded up stanning thir biases =increased interest in the group
All 8 could have debuted together but I also understand why Gina and Cristina didn't debut. I still support whatever path they want to choose(I know Gina is going to release music independently). As for KG, I was skeptical but she showed improvement in her dance and I know JYP likes seeing improvement, especially since he doesn't need them to be experts from the start. Also, another asset for them is that KG has written and composed her own songs before, which will be very helpful for the group going forward. Regardless, I support VCHA and their path, especially since this is uncharted territory for JYP.

As a huge fan of the show I feel like as much as it’s hard with these shows I trust JYPs decision. I was on board with the final 8 debuting, even being a HUGE Yuna fan who we lost earlier (she just wasn’t ready, took me back to Taki feels in ILAND) KG was a hard sell for me throughout the show, but her growth and stage presence took her over for me. I can see objectively the reasons Gina and Cristina weren’t selected but that doesn’t make it any easier. Glad you’re trying to be open minded, being so fresh off binging the entire show I can imagine it’s not easy 😂 I watched it weekly and it was still rough

I wasn't sold on KG or Kendall....Until Kendall's solo. She came out her shell, and shocked everyone. Mad Cristina didn't make it and SUPER mad Melissa didn't go to Korea. Kaylee to me, was too young...But insanely talented.
She shocked JYP from the very first audition. She had the most "idol" look

If you look at JYP previous TV shows in Korea, he always puts the vocal abilities of the performers first. I think that's why he picked KG.
My picks were Lexi KG and Camilla so i was pleased and KG the best vocalist in the group she was definitely making the group

@@ScoobySnacks7Camila’s voice is great but sounds a little harsh on higher notes and high falsetto, KG voice lends more to the ears imo for lighter higher notes. But overall I think they both suit lower-mid notes in general.

Lexi hitting those high notes was so nice. She's got a sleeper voice with such a beautiful tone that they just didn't properly showcase during A2k. Like everyone else said, having confidence has DEFINITELY improved her performance.
Camila is Camila man. Homegirl is the IT girl in this group. She's the WMD of the group. She hits the notes, she hits the moves, she's funny, and she takes care of her younger members.
Savannah can be the variety queen of the group. She's got a warm vocal tone, and sharp moves, but for me her bubbly personality is exactly what we want out of a KPOP idol. Its very welcoming and homely.
KG is arguably the most vocally trained as she was a solo artist prior. With that much technical experience, her voice will lend so much color and stability to the group. Her dancing has massively improved too. Very much the tentpole of the group.
Kendall was constantly being trashed during A2K by viewers, so I'm so glad to see that JYP's faith was well earned. She's got this speak/singy voice like a crooner, and she's adorably dead-pan, very SNSD's Seohyun.
Kaylee to me is the maknae super weapon. How's she so talented at 12/13? She is already the super all-rounder. With more experience, she's gonna be like Shinee's Taemin. She's already on track to be like BoA who also debuted at 13 years old, and became the queen of Kpop.

Stupid late to this video. But I was at Twices final concert of their tour in Vegas and VCHA opened for them not knowing who they are, so I watched A2K afterwards. Let me tell you, KG deserves to be there. Not knowing who they were, ver vocals and dancing stood out to me.
The show ended in july of this year so this predebut is after 2 months the show ended

My only guess is because in general, western groups tend to be 5 members max, so anything beyond that number tends to be a lot. The only group I can think of that has six members at the moment is New Edition.

Its got a crazy kids bop vibe to it. Not sure if I like it still after listening to the song a dozen times or so but I think its growing on me. I get they have a teenage vibe going for the group but I need more contrast in the lyrics.

I think JYP really wanted Melissa, to debut a 7-member group (perhaps). She had the talent + this youthful image that he was looking for the group. It's a shame that she couldn't go to Korea. Gina is super young but she has strong facial features and will look like an adult 1 year from now, I can see why she wasn't selected.

I agreed with you . I heard she only has 1 parent and her mom can't go to Korea with her ( all of them are under 18 during the show last year ) under US law minors can't go to another country unless there's an adult
@@evanyong5871that's not true, minors can travel internationally alone. She could've also assign another adult as a guardian. Maybe financial reasons though. I don't know if the parent housing and food was covered during the a2k training

In the case this thing ( paid by JYPe and Republic Records ) they ( parents ) are given a place to stay and food at least at JYPe headquarters ( which we fans can't ever go ) but they won't have anything extra 🥹 my guess is her mom will lose her job if she goes . After that if her daughter doesn't join the team members or if they flop then both their future are gone .

Please note that I never watched the survival show. So, I approached their MV as someone who had zero preconceived ideas, thoughts, and opinions about the members who made it vs. those who didn't.
OTOH, I can tell the members can sing and dance. OTOH, however, there wasn't anything abt them, the song itself or the MV that made me think "oh, wow, I gotta check them out!" The MV itself was rather flat. IDK
Hopefully, their comeback for their "official debut" will be epic or, at the very least, more fun than this pre-release.

Dream Academy girls are older. Hopefully, theyre all adults, so its ok for them to have sex appeal. But the vcha girls are all underage, you shouldnt be looking for the sex appeal from them.

Por lo tanto todas son menores, y deben ser tratadas como tal. El concepto es perfecto. Kaylee en un mes tendrá 14 años, KG 16, son niños.
