I was watching Jordan Peterson several months ago and he said " a good indicator that a couple will get divorced is if one or both roll their eyes, it is an outward sign of contempt." I have a problem of rolling my eyes at my husband but I think I feel annoyed at him, not contempt. Anyway, Shawn I noticed you roll your eyes often at Andrew. I think you feel annoyed not contempt?
I have started trying to have zero facial expressions while I process the crazy or silly things the come out of my husbands mouth. It's helped me think of a witty response rather than using my eye rolls to communicate.

Put all tiles face down in the middle of the table
Everyone picks 7 tiles
Flip them over and make Scrabble style words(like a crossword)
First person to use all their tiles says “Take one”
Everyone takes one tile(you can move them around to make different words)
Game stops when all tiles are used
Winner is the person who has the most points,or the person who used the last tile. Players decide
that sounds like bananagrams!

Yes, I am late. I have to applaud you for being able to talk through these lessons without stumbling. Holding eye contact with the camera for over ten minutes so I feel like you're talking to me. I must say I disagree on some points, but in true communication people can disagree. My childhood was horrific. But I couldn't walk away from those people. They sought me out. I definitely stayed away. I was bullied to the extend of physical being attacked. While I slept in my safe home with my parents, I would wake to wet toilet paper suck on my bedroom window, words written in mud. I was never safe from these girls. Those memories have been pushed to the back of my brain. Sometimes the memories randomly surface with tears. Thank you for taking the time to speak about your lessons, while making me think. It's Saturday, my chill day. I'll be thinking of you. ❤
