  • Today we are going through step by step of how to season a new Lone Star Grillz offset smoker. I go over all there is to know about seasoning up this smoker or any smoker, grill, or metal fire pit. This is one more in a series of videos featuring my new Lone Star Grillz offset.

    This by far and not even close is the best break down of this smoker. I thank you for making this video now it’s time to grab one up

    Congratulations on your grill. Thanks for the detailed videos. I just got the notification that mine is being fabricated now. Hopefully here in a few weeks I’ll be going through this process. I’ll look forward to some future cook videos.

    Love you videos man. Keep up the good work! I'm thinking really hard about upgrading from my Oklahoma Joe to a Lone Star as well. Gonna eventually do it, its just a matter of win. :-) Really looking forward to your next video where you do your comparison of the two.

      To be honest, I have a ribs video up next. But, the OKJ vs LSG video is coming soon.

    Just to mention, you very well could have used your Fire Management basket during that Burn in seasoning. They don't want folks to use the actual Charcoal "s" basket with the baffles. They are afraid that could warp..

    .. Nice smoker and helpful videos as I'm planning to order the 20x42 as well, minus the monster truck tires, just going to park it on my patio so don't see the need...

    • @BSBBQ
      @BSBBQ  Před 3 lety

      For sure. If you're just gunna park it and leave it, then I'd just get the 8" casters.

      @@BSBBQ anything you would do for sure again or different if you ordered your LSG 20x42 again? Would you get an ash pan to protect the bottom of the firebox or anything else that you see as a must?

      @@steveh3734 I got the gas assist, absolutely love it. If It is an option, id go with a stainless steel folding table. Love my probe ports. The fire basket is a must have. I love mine just the way it is, but I would love a stainless folding table instead of the standard steel folder.

    Lol....slickster! Hit the like button as many times as you like, but make sure it's an odd number of times, to really have all of them counted. Liked an odd number of times and subbed the same. Saving my pennies for the 24x24 vertical with a warming oven, and then even more pennies to cover the $800 to get her to New England. 🇺🇲🇺🇲🇺🇲

    Just watched your “unboxing” video with info/measurements. Could you measure width from wheel to wheel? Trying to see if it will fit through our gate. Thx

    I saw these at lsg facility and they look dam amazing best bang for the buck, with no loss of quality. Now how are the temps from corner to corner, middle and up and down? Supposed to be even temps throughout the unit. Do you wish you have got the other style he builds with tuning plates?

    • @BSBBQ
      @BSBBQ  Před 4 lety

      Temps are fine left to right.

      B'S BBQ yeah I ordered mine April 24th and they haven’t even started fabrication yet. Next week will be 13 weeks. Thats why I was curious how long yours took. Did they email you when they started building yours? If so how long did that take?
