  • BMW M6 - Two Year Ownership Review & Drive! HONEST
    This is a honest two year ownership review on my BMW M6. I explain how it's been to own an M6, costs involved, all the good things and bad. In my two year ownership of this BMW M6, I still love it like the day we picked it up! Great power and looks great too! I also take the BMW M6 for a good drive as I have just fitted new Michelin PS4's on it.

    Unlike most BMWs since the golden generation of E46/E39/E38s, you don't have to let the M6 grow on you or convince yourself this is a stunning looking car, it just is!

    I had a new 2014 (Pre LCI) Gran Coupe with 560bhp for a year, then bought a new LCI Gran Coupe with the 600bhp comp pack which I ran for just over three and a quarter years (until someone stole it, never to be seen again), both cars very reliable (as they should be), only thing they munched was rear tyres, fuel tbh was around 21mpg overall which I thought was pretty good. You'd easily do 25mpg on a run. The key with anything is let it warm up before you rev the engine out, thrash it from cold or before it's properly warmed up and it'll not do it any favours in the long run. I had the light grey Silverstone interior with carbon on a space grey car first then Sakhir Orange interior with Piano black on a Singapore grey car. I really dislike all black interiors, these cars look lovely inside with a contrasting colour.

      Hey Toby, can definitely see you’re a fan of the 6 series! So sorry to hear the comp one got stolen! Haha agree with the tyres, need replacing almost every year. Oooh the orange with the black piano must have been an individual, sounds beautiful! Thanks for watching too! 😊

    Agree about the blue and white leather! I've got the last gen version the E63 coupe. I'm silver with black leather not bad, quite like it but the Merc I had before (much newer 2017) was a blue like this although lighter shade with off white/cream leather and it was absolutely gorgeous I miss it!

    I really fancied an M6. But let my head rule my heart and I’ve got a 2018 640d Gran Coupe, plenty fast enough and I can see 50 mpg on a run, never less than 35 mpg. 99 percent of the looks but a fraction of the running costs. Glad I went with the diesel tbh.

    • @BobbyDrives
      @BobbyDrives  Před rokem +1

      Hey! Yep that’s because you’ve activated the most sportiest setting (if you’ve configured it that way) and that then makes the throttle response shorter and more responsive, therefore making the car jump a little and go faster.

    Hi! How many miles did you buy it with? How many miles does it have now? This is my dream car. But I’m scared about horror stories about reliability. I would keep it stock also. But and I would buy one with under 20k miles and like a one owner or something but do you think I need a bmw extended warranty? Idk I just want this car soo bad thank you for the review

    • @BobbyDrives
      @BobbyDrives  Před rokem +1

      Hey Josh, it had 36,000 miles when I picked up it up and it now has about 45,000 miles on it. Just regular servicing has kept this car in tip top condition. I bought extended warranty, however don’t even bother because they hardly cover anything! I had an issue with a turbo pipe and they wouldn’t cover it and said it was wear and tear! My advice is, buy one with low mileage, full service history and that it looks like a clean example. Overall, excellent car in every way!
