Got blind sided by the second set of raids, thus why I wasted David/100Face/Billy early.

ORT is supposed to be a OP Secret Boss that makes you think like “THATS CHEATING” so it’s Natural he has 2 phases
And that's why all servants are viable. Even facing the last Boss

The main draw for Golden Sumo is that attack up works for everything. Quick Arts Buster, crit or non crit, np or face card also extra attack and there's still no other CE that's as universal as that so you kinda have to do with card specific ones.

Players always overreact before even trying to think. This is exactly like that time when Olympus just got released on JP...
Yeah it's not impossible without SSR, you just have to have enough Servants and invest enough on them. Which can be impossible in some case, in fact I know someone who lost her old account and just started fresh a few months ago, blasting through story with friend supports and revive gem from campaign to catch up so her army is low in both numbers and investment. This is going to be a brick wall for her for the time being.
@@jayconstell9937 This one is kind of different IMO. Players will find it impossible if they didn't level up all of their servants after all, while in Olympus as long as you level up your supports and DPS units you can clear it.
and even so, if you are following the fgo history for this long, there is no way even as a F2P that they don't have a bunch on SSR

Especially hilarious in contrast to Mata Hari, who also had Necromancy and finished off an ORT bar yet didn't proc a single guts. That somehow also felt in character.

not only level them up, get their skills up too. it WILL make a difference

Anyway, having 1 SSR isn't exactly hard. The game literally gives you one for free these days, so I think that would've been reasonable, especially considering a 120 was used. And it would've been fitting too.

Excalibur was built explicitly to kill an alien and is an Anti-planet construct. That should be MORE than enough to completely incinerate ORT's body and force him to respawn back home.
Still not sure how his summoning nonsense works, but he had to eat a bunch of Servants to do that. A full-power, all seals unlocked, Excaliblast should destroy him before he gets the chance.
I mean, the entire reason ORT is on Earth is to murder humans eventually, so what seal would ORT not trigger?
Or does it have some bullshit super photosynthesis that would nullify the electromagnetic radiation Excalibur puts out?
@@Ohimeshinso ORT isn't seen as an "invader" but as VIP "guest" instead.
It answered Gaia's call for revenge against humanity, although it came many thousands years earlier.
The planet doesn't see ORT as an enemy/threat because it answers and follows the will of Gaia, therefore the planet won't supply any Excalibur-esque construct with extra power.
By the way this is the exact same situation that happened with the confrontation against U-Olga Marie at this lostbelt's beginning. She is *not* the true enemy as far the World is concerned therefore that giant Lostbelt-Excalibur weapon won't get any extra power from it.

Since when was that a thing? Excalibur just nukes planets, that's the point of the seals, so it can be used WITHOUT causing everything to die.
And Excalibur was made from human hopes, so it shouldn't have anything to do with Gaia. I can see it for Arthur cus his says "Battle to save the world" but Artoria's says "battle to save the Human Order"
So this is bizarre to me and seems like they pulled something out of their ass. Again.

Hey to be fair, it's a 17 bar boss essentially, with the first 11 being 1m, the next 5 being 1.2m, and the last being 3m, for a grand total of 20m HP. Not to mention the Deinos took care of a 2m bar for us so he theoretically has 22m HP total
So technically the rumor was true. Remember when ort first showed up and the claim was that if ort absorbed your servants they couldn't be used , maybe they were referring to this raid fight before it came out.
Yup, the rumor was right after all.
My headcanon is that the developers saw the panic during part 1 and went "WRITE THAT DOWN WRITE THAT DOWN" deciding to add that during the raid

FGO is one of the few gacha games that even the low star characters are useful and should not be underestimated and this video just solidified that.
Okay that all the gacha games you can use low star if you literally up all the skills, but in fate go is almost impossible to you have all low stars with max skill.

I don't play BA or Nikke but from the ones I do know, the only ones that fit the description is AK and AL. And even then, not all the low rarities are good in there (especially in AL where only a few low rarity units are actually useful or can become useful).
GBF: R's and SR's become completely useless after a certain point in game. They're literally designeg with a cap DMG cap that gimps them.
Sin-o-Alice it doesn't have character rarity system, so it doesn't count. And you can barely get by with low rarity weapons.
PGR is an action game, rarity barely matters in a game of skill.
In FGO, as shown in Honako's video, 1-3 are still useful even this far in the game. So your argument is kinda moot.
Nikke R’s are completely useless because the game spams you with SR and SSR units constantly that are better in every way. They’re not even fully realized characters. Only thing they’re useful for is dispatch fodder.
@@lopixel Nikke literally requires you to roll for multiple five stars to increase the level cap. You can't play Nikke with the base 2-3 stars. Ive tried man. Ive tried.
I don't know where you've been but GBF bronzes are literally useless outside like 5 tops, 2 of which can't even attack and 1 of which is for its backline passive only, and 95% of SRs are worthless now

I love that even after such an epic finish, you still make the music pause for the split second the DOT springs up.
I ended up using only 3~4 stars in fear that I will have to face bigger challenge with 5 stars. I was preparing my heartbreaking farewell to my favorite lvl 120 servants at the "hypothetical really hard battle ahead".
Thankfully we get them all back in the end.

Surely with FGO's amazing, top of the line U.I a video like this was extremely easy and fast to make. Switching teams and CC's for every character must have been a piece of cake!
And this, right here, is why I will recommend FGO to people. I was afraid this raid might be a bit rough for people without a ridiculous suite of SR/SSRs but here is Green showing that it absolutely CAN be done.
It still requires a strong suite of, some limited time available, CEs though...I don't have Golden Sumo, for example.

The look of horror on my sister’s face when I told her that ORT eats our servants and we don’t get them back was indescribable.
This fight was actually one of the more interesting ones in recent fgo years. Tho not kind to newer players, doing challenges like speedruns and low star/f2p runs are going to be incredibly enjoyable with this fight. Hope u had fun and retried it.

I've got a pretty new account in JP (started during 7th Anni), and this raid wasn't too bad. Granted, I nerfed myself hard during Arc 1 chapters (5-stars not allowed, specific level limits per Singularity, etc), which made me level up most of the good 1-3 stars when they might've been languishing in other accounts, but I also had a significant chunk of servants in the 30-40 level range due to mat shortages, so I still ran into newer account problems. Bearing that in mind, if you managed to make it to LB7 mostly legitimately (not abusing cubes/seals too heavily or relying on OP supports), ORT is extremely doable. I honestly felt the newer account squeeze in other aspects of this Lostbelt, namely the lack of recent F2P Avengers, Alter Egos, and Foreigners for other boss fights.

One thing I do particularly like here, is how it seems regardless of any high rarity servants. Everyone gets to that point where they only broke the bar like 3/4th way through. Only thing that's a shame is that he instantly takes everyone out after the current bar is broken. It'd have been cool to have somewhat of a light headstart against his next bar while you still have the advantage.
If they left you with the option of actually living someone would find a way to min turn the whole fight.

I am also saving my gold servants for raid 2. Using only 1-3 stars for the raid 1. Used 2-3 welfare gold servants to face the foreigner class. But wasn't needed.

I tried defeating ORT and in his UFO form with just 1-4* servants as well with Mash as the main damage dealer, it was pretty fun
