Gino definitely did incredible with Magic of Orlando in 2002. When I arrived I was one of only a few dozen vets. Gino, Ben, Chris, Jeff, and all the other staff did an amazing job teaching that summer!
Depends on the requirements of the set and the quality of the players. 10 seems appropriate considering the repertoire and the volume these guys are putting out. Cadets are traditionally a little middle/high end heavy, but it suits their style.
Thats not their DM conducting. Its their corps director Gino. He is probably the best director out there. Makes any brass line sound great. Look at magic of Orlando 2002. He'll be in the hall of fame. LOL.
I really don’t like how when they play the hymn song of Phillip bliss that the trumpets are so loud the whole time. It makes it so you can’t hear the trade off between the trumpets and mellos like you could in 93
I think it's great that we live in a world were we have instant access to high quality videos of some of the greatest brass lines.
idk why but i love the way this warmup is put together
ERRRRIICCC TURN UP
I saw that Cavaliers with 10.
One of their best hornlines in a while...
Beautiful! I loved full ensemble warm ups. You could just stand and absorb all the wonderful sounds. It brought the whole day together for me.
4:09 Holy Name
!A cathedral pipe organ!
Love it. Beautiful.
Love this warmup
sounding great guys!
Who needs synthesizers and vocals in your show when your hornline sounds this good! :)
Omg... Waking up and walks out side of the house and see there is a drum corp warming up... Heaven
10 seems pretty normal to me.

Good PB!
Kudos to the dm shaping it is well
At 4:25, ahhhh, all is right with my soul....
Madison did 20 at one point.
12-16 seems to be the go to.
I see 16 most often.
The second part is the DM.
I listen to Crown and I think best horn line. Then I listen to Cadets and I think best hornline.
Would love to be the cameraman here! :) Thanks for the post!
Awesome horn-line. I feel like if they did a little bit more with dynamics they would be over the top! They have a badass trumpet section this year.
I saw you there! I was thinking..."hmm is this the drum corps tube guy?" lol

Haha just imagine what that neighbor is thinking.
Beat BD. Beat BD. Beat BD.
A major, or I think your B major

Gino isn't the corps director...
They are missing 2. One with medical issues and one new member if I remember correctly
GO GARFIELD!
well the first part?
Wait, I just noticed, are they in height order so that they make a wave?
Why do they not play Philip Bliss anymore?
does anyone have the sheet music for the first warmup? or a name
This year their hornline sounded a lot nicer and cleaner than other years edgy frack sounds from heir hornlines

no. not at all.
