Here in the UK, Basswood comes from the Lime Tree. Although called a lime tree, it is not related to the citrus fruit.

Great carving. You are exceptionally creative with your carvings & wonderful detail. I am just wondering which set of dockyard tools do you use? Also when you use a 1mm or 3 mm V tool is there a certain degree angle for the V - 60 degree , 45 degree, etc. ? Thanks again. I get so much inspiration from your videos.

Hello ddalo, this is David again and I'm sorry to bother you but we seem to have a communication problem. I understand the knife your using to carve with is a occtooll 1 7/8 but at time marker 14:30 you switch to a different knife, much longer pointed blade and large choil before the handle. This is the knife I'm interested in. Thank you for all your time with me.
