This a byproduct of the entertainment industry trying to cross pollinate these young,attractive teen and 20 something females. I don’t know much about her career, whether she started out as an actress and “singing” was this side thing she could sorta do, and once she got into acting and got a name, it gave her leverage and people willing to get her into music. I’ve only seen her in 2 movies “Bumblebee” & “The Edge of Seventeen”. It’s clear, if she wasn’t an actress, she would have no music side hustle career. The industry just pumps these girls out and gets what they can from them, and once they are in their 30’s, the roles dry up, and they are relegated to just appearing in commercials or awards shows, or they marry some wealthy guy and raise a family. Her voice isn’t strong and it caters to a very niche specific demographic.
