HELLO FRIENDS!! here is our full stream from this week, where we stumbled through many tiktok beauty hacks! as some of you guys might know, the freckle hack went a bit awry -- tyler accidentally sprayed a little too much root spray on his face, so i blurred that bit out just so it wouldn't get misinterpreted here or possibly clipped somewhere else. so sorry about that, we definitely wouldn't want to present any upsetting imagery in the stream. (i also think the blurring tool might have knocked out the chat - sorry about that as well!) thanks for all your patience! hope you guys enjoy the stream otherwise. love, saf

The chat psyching Tyler out made me a bit sad - you guys are doing great and have gotten to a point where you are so much more comfortable and natural on stream. Sometimes it seems like you get into your head about wanting to do a really good job when most of us are just happy hanging out with you, and I just want you to know that your streams are one of the more joyful and relaxing parts of my week.
I kinda feel like Saf seems stressed to the point of being agitated in most livestreams when looking at chat... Maybe I'm just unfairly comparing how she acts in her regular "edited" videos where she is way more relaxed and having fun.
I kinda feel like it would be nice if chat was taken by someone else in the team so that they didn't have to focus on that. If one person makes an insensitive remark without thinking that's one thing but it must be hard to be bombarded with them just from the sheer amount of people in the chat

The chat is the reason why I stopped watching the live stream. Saf and Tyler seem so stressed about pleasing everyone. I wish they hired someone to moderate the comments instead of bothering with all those 12 year olds in the chat roasting Tyler. It really seems to be getting to him and it makes me so sad.
I agree with you Amanda. Watching all there live streams they do together, they seem to put Tyler down and make him look like a fool as if they are teaming up on him. She seems toxic.

I would actually love if you guys stopped paying so much attention to chat, I think it would be a better vibe with you and Tyler just matching each other's energy without having to worry about rude people. I think it would be good if you just checked it every once in a while and then spend a little time at the end! Chat needs to have some more respect I think, we all just want to see Ty and Saf have fun on stream seeing them feeling a bit awkward because of comments makes me feel so bad. We appreciate you guys, watching these streams is the highlight of the week for me!

I suggest the chat is removed from any livestream, that would be fantastic! Imagine a stream where Saf & Tyler don't feel stressed about other people's opinion or comments!

Maybe keep it but have Carly (sp?) act as like interpreter for the chat? So if there’s comments she thinks are actually useful or helpful she can let them know but otherwise she can be a barrier between them and all the annoying people

I really don't like the chat. Y'all don't get to enjoy your time in the stream because they just complain the whole time. Please have someone else read through and leave it at that. Have the other person send you any comments they think will be good for the stream and leave it at that. I want y'all to be happy doing these because they make me happy to see you just having unedited fun.
Yeah the chat is awful and a lot of the people in it are just intentionally pushing buttons and trying to see how much trouble they can get away with. Saf and Ty are just good natured and probably don’t realize the degree to which they’re sometimes being manipulated by certain intentional comments in the chat
I actually have started watching less bc of the toxic chat intervention. Even the bingo just seems mean spirited when egged on by the chat. I love these two and watching them try new things and all the chat noise dilutes the joy of the stream
My dogs nickname is Bella & when Saf said “this is the skin of a killer Bella!” She jumped up & looked over at the phone like wtf! 😂

Ok I just wanted to say I know the incident with the freckles for Tyler was an unfortunate accident and it doesn’t need to be addressed again but I just want to compliment Saf on her quick thinking and composed reaction and the way you guys handled it after just all around I think everything worked out and good job :)

honestly you guys need another assistant to check in on chat for you (or just ignore chat altogether!). chat cannot be trusted. we, the commenters, are usually well intentioned but there's a lot of us and we say all sorts of nonsense. don't let us ruin your vibe!

My only complaint would be that since he did both side the same rather than symmetrical, and that the blue is so bold, to me his eyes look like they're both holding a sassy left hand. But that aside his look was stunning!
The off step of the eyeshadow kind of gives me David Bowie vibes. And the the colors give me pan flag vibes!
As a girl who never wears makeup I really feel in tuned with Tyler putting on eye makeup. I have tried, but I have a blind spot on my right eye that makes it difficult to see anything close up and so fine detail work on my left eye is pretty much impossible
The second application of Tyler’s foundation looks really good. I feel upset that the chat was getting to Tyler he looks so 😕 you look great Tyler!

Saf’s freckles look so good on her! + You should have someone behind the camera who can read out comments that only benefit the stream or come from donos. You do seem distracted & if the negative comments impact you, it really changes the tone of the stream. I can’t imagine being told that I look like I’m panicking when I’m not and then try to NOT start panicking 😭

So what I’m hearing is we’ve got three types of mummies: freeze-dried (Andean and other mountaintop mummies), jerky-d (Egyptian and accidental in dessert areas), and pickled (bog bodies). Somebody with a better understanding of the ph of peat bogs or archeology feel free to correct me. 😆

Loved this stream - so much fun to see the different looks, Tyler’s coloured eyeshadow was the bomb with his hair.
Also adding to the voices saying to forgo the chat more often or letting one of your team handle it as you seem to be more relaxed and have more fun when you’re not worrying about checking it ☺️
I freakin love Tyler. Saf brings me in, Tyler keeps me here. I love his randomness, his stories, and his references. He is me, I am him. I think it’s the Gemini personality. He’s open to try new things, like wearing all this makeup. He’s amazing and it wouldn’t be the same without him. I remember many months ago, people were criticizing him so much that you could physically see his sadness. I absolutely hate how judgmental chat is. Don’t come here and bring that negativity. Didn’t you parents teach you, “if you don’t have anything nice to say, don’t say anything at all”. Why do they find it okay to say the things they say? Like if you’re not enjoying the stream, just leave. Okay, I’m done ranting. Love them so much and wouldn’t want to see them stop the streams due to chat.
Instead of lube, just use a hydrating gel to mix with the foundation, same gliding effect, no flaking and you get a nice finish, dewy but not shiny. I use an inexpensive one from Garnier called water balm, can recommend 😊🙌
That makes A LOT more sense seeing as lube dries and isn't necessarily good for the face, but a hydrating gel would only be good for the skin and would not dry weirdly.
Or Neutrogena Hydro Boost gel!
I have a giant thing of Cetaphil moisturizer and I just mix that with my foundation if I want more moisture/less coverage and it works great. I think you just need to make sure that whatever you are mixing has the same base (oil, silicone, water, etc) as your foundation
Clinique dramatically different hydrating jelly would be PERFECT for this. I might try that!
Let me just add this: aloe vera gel!! Actually good for your skin, natural, comparatively inexpensive.
Can we give Tyler a husband of the year trophy or mug or something. My husband won't let me even pluck his eyebrows and Tyler did this for the whole internet to see.

helpful tip for tyler in future videos with his eye scrunching: if closing you eyes and keeping them relaxed is hard you can always hold a mirror low and look down into the mirror 💕 it gives the effect if closing your eyes without scrunching! i would love to see more tiktok makeup hack videos from you both 💕

Eyeshadow plus slightly damp angled brush is great for eyebrows. Definitely try it if you still haven't found something that works for your eyebrows! I, for some reason, have a couple of stubborn spots that won't fill in properly with normal eyeshadow so I go over them with the wet brush!

Loved the makeup hacks!!! Actually the striped eyeshadow is very old-school. What we used to do back in the day was rainbow eyes, where as each stripe was very different from the one before and you did not blend it out. Of course the eyeshadows were not as pigmented as they are now so it was more a pastel thing 🌈 👁

It reminds me of the mixing face lotion with your foundation or oil with foundation. When I was a teenager, I would mix a small squirt of neutrogena face lotion and shimmer eyeshadow on a palette to get a liquid eyeshadow and it lasted forever.

So many of these hacks leave out the most important part which is blending. You can make almost anything look good if you blend it well enough.

I was aware of TikTok but unaware that people have started using it as a theme for parties!! I had a lady call into the bakery I work in, and ask if we had anything to put on a cake that was TikTok. I asked for clarification and she said TikTok SO many times that if I had been doing shots, I would've been blind drunk!!

Honestly this is making me feel SO much better because i had one of THOSE days freaking today. I’m pmsing, my son was up coughing last night, my dogs escaped this morning and the big one went boneless on my trying to get her back in the gate, my makeup sucked, coffee failed me, i was super irritable and my husband and i had to rush a project for my daughter that she had two weeks to do and it’s due tomorrow (she’s 8) and i kept on dropping stuff and was bloated …. like my whole day was a mess. So this was a blessing to just see stuff not working out for everyone but still having fun. ♥️
The thing I hate about fan interaction is that fans think they're owed something or that they know these streamers well enough that they can say whatever they want. Like these are people who enjoy creating enjoyment for others. Don't ruin it for the rest of us. I love that we get to see them outside of main channel videos and it would suck if they decided live streaming wasn't good for them. And that's my incredibly late two cents. 🤷♀️

No matter what tape you use on your skin you should destick it a bit first on the back of your hand or some jeans or a t shirt so it doesn't hurt your skin but it still sticks enough to function

The eyeshadow hack was started by smitha Deepak and if i remember correctly she said tha one should blend outwards to avoid mudding the eyeshadow which happened to eyebrow hack side

The live chat was a little rude for how well they were doing. Tyler even said it was his first time doing makeup and Safiya was doing great too! Some of the hacks were a bit far fetched to begin with. Like the eyebrow or her blush/contour/concealer thingy or the freckles thing, they put out amazing videos and live streams. If you guys are seeing this I really appreciate all the work you put into the videos and streams that you do. I have been watching you for about 8 years between your channels and have never been disappointed! Keep doing what your doing! Look forward to watching future videos!
