It's teamwork that made this dream work 😂 He is much more experienced fishermen than me and I'm busy filming and doing other stuff😂 Sometimes I go to the car and come back and He has a 22" a Keeper waiting for me 😂
We used multiple size jigheads from 1/2 oz to 1 oz and hi lo rigs with 2 oz and 3 oz bottom sinkers. Any real meat bait works fine from the bait shop too except shrimp doesnt work here.
Cool! I go there a lot and on the surf, I practice casting 😂 will go there tomorrow. Hopefully the tide is good 😊 what size of hook did you use and I see you used spearing too as a bait

@lilmr5boros1 I'm pretty sure he's just joking, this spot has been abandon for fish many years that I've been crabbing only there. I rarely see people get more than 1 undersize fluke there or much fish.

We used minnow aka spearings bait mostly.

Good stuff. I saw a couple chasing my lure out east a couple of days ago. I caught one on a 2oz mag darter a year ago.
They are fun but its so hard to get a Legal Keeper at 19" hehe we got really lucky Tuesday morning!

Have fun! Any hook size 3/0 jigheads up to 7/0 works fine we tried all the hooks size last 2 trips we been there.
Where is this fishing pier? I went to the SE corner of the park where there is a pier on Google maps but it doesn't look like this one.
