Bruddah, I still think this is one of her best covers. It still gives me chills and tears. The smoothness of her voice and her vibrato are both outstanding. 😂
Bruddah Sam, this is one of her most pleasing and beautiful covers. Through her voice she brings out the real meaning of this song. No need for extreme belting, this smooth & peaceful rendition is one of my favorites. Her tone and especially perfect vibrato send chills up my spine.
Bruddah, this is one of the earliest videos of Lucy's and her rendition of this one made me become a huge fan of her. One thing I noticed in this one was how excellent her vibrato is with power behind it. You can hear the excellent execution of it nearing the end when she opens up and slides up toward the conclusion. Her vibrato is perfect. Another reactor said "No one does vibrato like Lucy". I heartily agree. After years she still brings chills and tears. Wow!

One of my favorite things about watching Bruddah Sam reactions, mostly when he is showing us Lucy Thomas, is how he smiles after her first few notes. Yes Sam, you are not alone. We all smile just watching her and waiting for those first few notes to start. I have followed her for a long time now, have 3/4 of her CD's (waiting for Destiny to be delivered). She is amazing. Thanks to you for 'reacting' so positive to a great talent as Lucy. Love her...and you too Sam.

VERY FEW SINGERS HAVE VOICES LIKE LUCY THOMAS AND CONSISTENTLY PASSIONATE ABOUT HER SONGS. I HAVE LISTENED TO HER ALMOST 30 SONGS AND FOUND HER VERY GOOD IN ACTING OUT AND TELLING THE STORY EACH AND EVERY SONG THAT MESMERIZED THE VIEWER TO FEEL THE SONGS WITH HER. ADDICTIVE SMILE TOO!
Lucy HAS proven that she can make ANY song HER OWN and i LOVE THEM ALL and especially with Martha and now her 'MUM' with 'Smile'. WHA-ZAY AND what leads and harmony's from the three of them, AMAZING!!! What I'm patiently waiting for is when Lucy and Martha do some Carpenter songs and maybe LOUISE will add to that also. I constantly imagine Lucy singing Karen's impeccable ballad, "Solitaire' and her and Martha doing 'Top of the World'...

Bruddah, haven't watched this one for a few months. Chills up the spine again and teary eyes again. Plus, at the end where she returns to soft and smooth, it's hard not to be effected. A truly beautiful rendition.

Bruddah Sam, thank you for your reaction video. Another big hit for Lucy in 2022, and it's still January. It's only been 2 days since this was posted. Already 6 thousand likes, 60 thousand views, and 1,500 comments. She has so much confidence and vocal control that it shows in her performances. This is not an easy song, but her rendition is near perfect. Lucy made this cover song 'hers' with her unique 'Lucy Thomas Sound'. Also her Physical Delivery and Performance really engages the audience.
Can't wait to see what comes next this year. This is going to be Lucy's breakout year when the world finally realizes what an extraordinary talent she is. Lucy doesn't follow the leader, she is the leader among young artists today. Really hope 'Rosie The Musical' opens in West End London Theater soon. She has the Lead Role and she is ready.
In her post, Lucy pays tribute to the people who helped her along the way. She calls them her Hero's and the Wind beneath her wings. Lucy is humble and fame has not gone to her head. She realizes that she didn't get here by herself. Her team of family, friends, and music professionals is yet another resource she has and can count on. You can have best voice in the world, but you can't make it to the top on your own.

Way better then the original and maybe that's why Sony Records has blocked Lucy's Run To You video because Lucy"s rendition is way better then Whitney Houston's. Their claiming a Copyright infringement has occurred which I think it is complete BS, otherwise CZcams would of never let the video be uploaded, but they did and it aired for 5 weeks before it got pulled. So either CZcams's Content ID has major flaws in it or someone at Sony is a greedy snake....

Great reaction as always Bruddah Sam and it’s plain to see how much of a fan you are. Up until now my favourite version of this song was by Lee Greenwood from 1983 but, as always, Lucy just blows everyone else out the water. She is the most beautiful and most talented female singer I have ever seen. Her covers of Leonard Cohen’s ‘Hallelujah’ and Aerosmith’s ‘I Don’t Want To Miss A Thing’ are just off the scale. Like you I look forward with great anticipation to whatever she does next. Keep up the great work. 🏴
