Torrential rains cause deadly landslides in South Korea

- At least 22 people were reported to have died, 14 were missing and thousands were evacuated as a third day of torrential rains caused landslides in South Korea.

The country has been pounded by heavy downpours since 9 July. The ministry of the interior and safety said about 4,760 people had been forced to evacuate and thousands of households had been left without electricity over the past seven days.
More heavy rain was expected on the Korean peninsula over the weekend, according to the country's meteorological administration.

It appears that large swaths of the Northern Hemisphere is getting hit by heavy rains, fierce storms, flooding, and in other areas very high heat. This is going to be one rough summer for much of the world 🌎.
This is really the concrete evidence of the ill impacts of climate change. Let us pray for the affected People. Let us pray for South Korea.🙏🙏
Australia is in for massive floods and bushfires and more coastal devastation. This will start in August which is a month away.

the water cycle on Earth is disrupted. Sometimes it doesn't rain for weeks and when it starts to rain, all the precipitation that should have been there is dumped all at once, causing huge damage to infrastructure.
Exercise wisdom and understanding in the time of adverse weather conditions is the best safety.

Deforestation was the primary cause of that particular landslide , the rain merely triggered it.
Latest huge disasters mostly hit industrialized G7 and closest allied countries. It should be called as industrialized Climate. 😁
