- Nguyen Works Rear Bumper w/ Swing Out Install on Lexus GX470 (With Crossmember)
In this video I'm installing the Nguyen Works Rear Bumper with a Swing out on my Lexus GX470. I chose to keep the crossmember on to make DIY install much easier and to make the rear end more rigid.
*Make sure the swing out bolt is tight with minimal play AND lift your rear bumper with a jack and retighten the bolts*

It's a nice bumper! For the purpose of these bearings, I guess that grease will be alright, but if you were greasing a bearing for something that will take more load I highly recommend packing that bearing correctly with grease (multiple ways to be done). Also for the spindle, if you put the nut at the bottom, if it comes lose and falls off the bolt remains in the collar however with the bolt entering from the bottom, if the nut comes off the bolt has a much higher chance of falling out and with it your swing out.

No but the owner gave me some pointers and another guy that installed it already helped out. Figured some of it out on my own aha. Not too hard
