My advise would be to get to level 41 and max out all your heroes specials abilities. Equipment your main Trial of death heroes and arena heroes with everything and enchant all the items. Equip 90% of the other heroes. Collect food from friends and missions, don't collect daily missions that will increase your squad experience. Stay there until you're comfortable to move on. You will lose ranking in the arena, but you will catch up later on. Hope this helps.
I suggest you do. When you reached purple +1, rely on your upgrade tree to see which heroes you want to promote at the next level/s, by holding on to that gear or crafting it from farming the campaign for items.

You clan firstly needs to qualify for brawls, which occurs 2 times a week, you also need to be a minimum clan ranking of member
