I’ve been binge watching notion meal planner videos to find the right one and honestly yours is the ‘smartest’ out of all of them and one of the few that makes use of Notion’s newer features - excellent work!

I totally understand! I'm planning a video on Notion formulas soon, which I would definitely recommend watching when it comes out! Hi Kat, can you do sometime a travel planner? Would be cool or a simply Gym planner. Great Video, I bought your "life dashboard planner" template on Notion. You thought for everything. I love this!! Are we able to edit it to feature something that wasn't in it? Like a master pantry, fridge , freeze, spice collection. I'd like to know when I have something in stock or not and when they expire.
I’m sure that’s something you could integrate into the Pantry section! Right now, there’s not a way to add a certain amount to a number property when clicking a button in Notion (that would be the most efficient option). You could add a checkbox for whether or not it was in stock and also a date property for the expiration! Then when you run the weekly reset you can add an automation to make sure anything you bought got marked as being in stock :)
Really like what you have done with this. Seems as if the template is currently unavailable, so I have been trying to recreate this on my own. Are you able to confirm how you have the Pantry Items / Ingredients / Shopping List databases configured so that you are able to enter in the ingredient quantities in the template of the recipe and have it summed with the formula on the shopping list?

Sometimes I’ll keep meat or broth in the freezer, so remember to take those out of the freezer the night before/morning of. I also bake sourdough, so things like mixing dough or feeding my starter! Just anything that might need to be done for cooking to go smoothly :)
Hi, i've been trying to understand the formula and steps behind your template and the only thing I don't understand is how do you avoid having the same ingredient multiple times in your shopping list ? Your meal planner really is amazing I love your content !
This is a great question! You'll want to start by setting up your Weekly Meal Plans which will take about 5-10 minutes before adding your recipes. Adding the recipes will be the longest portion and depend on how many recipes you have! Once those are entered, I've added a Meal Plan Building page (since this video was posted) where you can easily drag and drop recipes into your Weekly Meal Plans, so it should only take a few minutes to actually build out the plans. Hope this helps!
Hello. This looks very user friendly, but I’m curious, can I add my own recipes to this data base or am I limited to what you already have in there? And, if I can, is there directions on how to do that? Thanks!
Hey!! Great question. When you get the template everything is in cups, tsp, etc., but these are completely customizable! I know a few people who have changed all the measurements to ML, KG, etc. Hope that helps!

Hi there! I think I just potentially answered you via email, but just in case I'll answer here too! Yes! You can add the calories and macros to the recipe cards. That way you can total them each day too :)
