- Urbavore Farm is an ultra-diverse 13 acre ecological farm in the middle of Kansas City. Brooke, Dan, and their two adorable kiddos grow beyond-organic vegetables, fruits, and pastured pork in a dynamic no-till system.
We paid them a visit in late summer to showcase the abundance of their knowledge and passion for truly regenerative agriculture! These folks are the real deal when it comes to sustainable living and practicing what you preach. Thanks for watching!

My GF, her father and I are seriously considering taking on a similar transition as yours, (within the year) with verrry similar ideals, practices and beliefs. I study environmental science and am very excited to meet neighbors and like-minded people to trade honey and organic wine with (lol)
Please reach out somehow.. I’m not big on CZcams I’d love to hear about your tips and experiences.
Take care guys! GOOD LUCK!

Glad to see you guys doing great 32 gang
Chabuka I just like saying the word
Awesome, great location. I am French Canadian, but I have been living in the western part of Canada for 30 years. Do you guys offer any training during Spring break and a place to camp on your land? I would like to purchase 0.5 acre piece of land in the central part of the U.S, where the Winters are not as harsh as here, and prices are a lot lower, compared to $60,000 for a 0.3 acre piece of land in Alberta or B.C. I love the outdoors, plants, living simply & organic, etc. but do not have farming experience. Also, you guys had to obtain all the permits required to live close to the city. Where could I purchase land in Kansas state or South Utah, where there would not be as many restrictions, and I could buy just one acre, not 10-40 acres? Any community I could join or partnership I could have with farmers? Thanks.
