Ford's straight-laced delivery is so great but I love when he drops it for a few moments to laugh along. Great interview.
I've seen him on many talkshows and he was very uncomfortable, shy, nervous even. Now I just think he's stupid and low IQ. Why? Check out all his accidents with his airplanes, what a moron, and here he's just the same moron, not funny, just stupid. He worked many jobs before acting, carpenter and more, he should have stayed with that..
He's funny, still very sharp.

@@WaveRider1989 Sure, but one hell of a vigorous old man. I saw the new movie, and he did all of the action scenes. (He's never done his own stunts, contrary to popular belief.) I would not be surprised if he lives to be 100.

Harrison Ford is one of the all-time greatest talk show guests, going back to the 70s. Though he has had many memorable appearances, his time on Conan takes the cake as the best. There was something about their chemistry that took each personality to a new level. It was special. Ford is so uncomfortable in front of people, but somehow Conan made it bearable. And funny.
I read an interview years ago where they asked Harrison what kind of car he drives, he said he drives a red car and a blue car. Private, deadpan, love him!
You cant really label talk show hosts as "people". Its not really a genuine experience.

Harrison Ford is so quiet and subtle, but the second he coughs at 1:20, or at other points where he's loud, you hear that classic Harrison Ford voice come through.

Well yeah, because it's a latenight show/podcast that has the specific purpose to sell a film to their audience. Movie criticism is not part of the late night game, especially when you have the movie star sitting across from you.
There's many movies that have had bad review at the time and everyone jumps in the bandwagon, years later people have chilled out and people enjoy them. Bladerunner, The Last Crusade, even The Phantom Menace.

@@JamesKennedy33 No. The original Bladerunner at the time was a flop, bad reviews, etc.... Longer before the days of the internet where people pan things before they've even seen them, just by reading opinions of other people who haven't seen the film😂. Anyway, I digress, Bladerunner only really got the recognition over time after it came out on video.
Matt must be the happiest guy in the world. And it's all caught on tape so he can relive this moment till the day he dies

really happy with conan and his teams new direction, i enjoy the format of a night show mixed with a podcast and the awkward honesty is appreciated it makes it feel more genuine they could have easily cut that stuff out
I remember as a child my Uncle visited and told us about seeing Raiders of the Lost Ark in the theaters. He said "This movie is going to define a whole new genre." (or words to that effect) He wasn't wrong.
I just want to go somewhere with Conan, Matt, and Sona! I am pretty sure it would be the most amazing and freeing experience in the world 😂

There's a part near the end when they are all laughing (about Matt Gourley's - or "Gourmet's" according to spellcheck - "I declare..." Southern Belle moment) where they look like Muppets, especially Conan and Sona. That's not a bad thing, I love the Muppets!
Harrison Ford's reaction to the notion of spending $25 "...to lie down?" is hilarious, while the way he says it is super-cool. Great voice. I love this short snippet. As others have said, this is perhaps Conan O'Brien Needs A Friend's best interview (among many. Kevin Nealon anyone? Bueller? Bueller?). Fantastic.

I saw both the re-release of Raiders and Dial in the theater and loved them! Totally worth seeing on the big screen and sound. The audience reaction is part of the experience. Everyone clapped at the end and it felt great to be there.
“It might have been, it might have been…” 😮😂😂😂 As a Superego listener since 2011, I’m not surprised at all by Matt improv skills and coolheaded approach. Fast and deadly. The weirdest premises and the most unexpected punchlines. A director/producer mind ( the dynamics, the sound effects, the editing, the quality of the product overall). Conan knows comedy. The fact that these two met, as a Conan buff, still warms my heart.

She defends them on air, but I sense that she might be a bit aloof and with an air of superiority. I'll say it since it fits here, too: I wish it was Andy on this podcast instead of Sona. He rarely ever swung and missed.

I saw Dial of Destiny and as a discerning life long fan of most things Lucasfilm and Harrison Ford, I would definitely recommend seeing it in the cinema. I expected it to be good, but it was quite different than I expected and it was genuinely a very good film in all sincerity.
Really? It might have been one of the worst movies Lucasfilm has ever done.
It may have been even worse that Rise of Skywalker. This movie made Crystal Skull look good.

Harrison needs to get one of those extremely realistic masks that they sell on-line (or maybe one of his special effects buddies to help), so he can experience the energy of an audience as he sits right in the middle of them.

It definitely was not a good film. I believe you can enjoy it if you dont think about it too much, but it ABSOLUTELY was not a good film.
