I feel like it would have made the movie better if some of the old Bloodsport characters could reprise their roles. Bolo, as Chong LI would have been more intimidating than whoever the big bad was in this film. I realize that getting some of these people is a pipe dream, but its fun to imagine none the less.

I really like the film. To me its a 3,5 out of 5. Concerning the accents, I makes sense, since fighters are gathered from around the world. And back in the day we also had Europeans as the lead who all had accents, so I think they did it on purpose. Can you do a review about Kickboxer with Sasha Mitchell? Love those first films

Yeah, the main-actor looked too timid, not at all as confident as Van Damme was in Bloodsport.

I really don't understand making a kinda spiritual successor to something as good as Bloodsport and you get Bolo's damn son in it and he's not the lead actor. Would've been a way more interesting idea to have Chong Li's son be the main focus, he's we'll spoken and good at martial arts. and the whole side plot was boring as hell just give me a damn straight up underground tournament that's all I needed.
