    Handife Pressure Washer (Amazon): geni.us/Nsw5Z4
This is a surprisingly powerful pressure washer and to be honest I wasn't expecting it to be as good as it is.
Is it as powerful as an expensive mains powered pressure washer (e.g. Karcher)? No.
However, it is extremely portable, very affordable and it does a great job on paving as you will see from the video.
It's roughly 1/3 the price of my main pressure washer which is a Karcher K4 and I find it perfect for cleaning areas where I don't want (or need) a super powerful spray. For example, while draining the hot tub I can clean it as it is draining and use the water from the tub. That saves me dragging the Karcher, hose and extension lead out and makes the job much quicker.
Likewise, I can lead the garden hose onto my shed roof, connect to this washer and use it to clean the adjoining greenhouse roof so it's way more versatile than a traditional (mains) pressure washer.
    In this video:
    00:00 Intro
    00:50 What's in the box?
    03:20 Spray jets
    05:00 Cleaning paving
06:30 Cleaning bird muck on render

    07:36 Cleaning hot tub
    09:31 Cleaning algae on tarmac
    09:57 Close-ups
    11:28 Final thoughts / Summary
If you have a large area of paving, multiple cars or other 'big' jobs for a pressure washer I'd say go with a powerful mains powered pressure washer but for smaller jobs or areas which are more difficult to reach this cordless pressure washer is certainly worthy of consideration - I'm very pleased with mine.

Same as a Parkside. Good stuff. You've highlighted its advantages well. I'd add one: a Kårcher disperses the dirt over a wide area. This one doesn't.
Also better suited for cleaning motorbikes and bicycles. With this you don't force water into places where water does damage, like cabling, ball bearings etc.
The Parkside model is part of a 'family' of battery powered batteries. These can be bought separately and are interchangeable.

Nice one - that sounds like a great option - I like to have all the necessary machinery for the (many) jobs around my home and garden.
I've recently got some DeWalt drills, grinder and hedge cutter which have interchangeable 5.0AH batteries and they are great. If they did a small strimmer for the edges of lawns I'd get that too since my petrol strimmer is broken but their strimmer is no good for cutting around delicate shapes and curves.

Yes it's very handy for the difficult to reach jobs and smaller tasks where the larger washer would be inconvenient.
I'm wearing Harkila shorts in the video, lol
I don't get sponsored by any company but Harkila / Swazi are probably two I'd consider. However, when I set the channel(s) up I make a conscious decision never to be paid for anything by any company as I've seen so many people sell their souls just for fake money and then their videos and themselves become soulless.
Some of the offers companies have made to have their products featured in videos are mad but all have been turned down - it's really strange when I do that as they always come back with the same thing "by we're going to pay you" and they can't understand why anyone would turn down money but I will never sell out.
This reminds me of last year when Paypal were hassling me to put a feature on my website which they would pay me for and would allow buyers to purchase the products without having the funds in their account - I think it was called Paypal Credit or something similar.
Their first attempt was for £250, second was for £500 and the last one was for £1000 - every time I turned them down as I don't want anyone to buy anything unless they can afford it. The world is already in enough debt and I won't be part of adding to that nonsense.
Every time the people from Paypal said I was the only one who turned them down and it seemed to make their day to have someone going against the grain but I can't do anything else as I've been in crippling debt before (for about 10 years) and I know what it's like.

The debt bouble is not going to end well whenever it is to burst, but the longer we go suppling cheap credit and quantitative easing the worse it will get.

Does this pressure washer work as well when drawing the water supply from a pond or bucket? Reviews of other similar washers are critical of performance when not connected to mains water supply. On the point of purchasing for our model boat club to clean off wildfowl droppings from lake edge.

    • @ThousandYardStare
      @ThousandYardStare  Před 2 lety

That's a difficult one to answer effectively since the longer the 'draw' pipe is the less water the pump will be able to draw (due to friction loss in the relatively narrow pipe) and therefore the less it will be able to pump out.
It is definitely better when connected to a pressurized supply.
For cleaning duck crap off the edges of a lake it should cope fine when the draw pipe is in the lake but if it is some particularly dried on muck it may struggle.
