    I know it was very hard work in those days but I cant help feel that I could be transported back to those days where life just seemed so uncomplicated .

    I hate to correct you, but it is a binder, not a combine. A combine harvester combined cutting, separating, and threshing in one machine - hence the name. A binder cuts and binds the crop - also hence the name.

      This is just after ww2 your farm would have been owned by the government and taken fromyou if they thought you dint produce well enough plus rations only stoped around 1970's so havefun starving and working the living hell out of yourself
