Being that Fiji was my GREATEST IDOL when i was young, 1 thing that i truley LOVED ABOUT HIS MUSIC, was his harmonies of his chants. So, i decided, to do one myself. And what song more popular than the Manu Samoa Haka Chant! Big Ups to brada Fiji.BAHLESSSS!

PROUD TO SAMOAN!
@SacTownUso yeah i agree... i reckon it needed heavier bass & tighter harmonies... but in saying that this is the first i've heard anyone do the Siva Tau in harmony, so much props to Spawnbreezie.. i still love this version tho'...
Malie, malie my Samoa. Spawnbreezie, I heard the Tongan song you sung, Fangai Lupe. I understand it was a very old Tongan song before. I loved the song very much and wondered if you could do a song from the island country of my father. He is from French controlled Wallis and Futuna, islands west of Samoa and east of Fiji. It would be cool to hear songs of the old days put and sung to modern styles.
Le manu samoa e, ua malo le fai faiva (2×)
Le manu samoa lenei ua ou sau,
Leai se isi manu o le atolaulau,
Ia e fa'atafa ma e soso ese,
Leaga o lenei manu e uiga ese

I swear Samoan language flows so well. *cough* better then Tonga :)
Cheeeeeehooooo!
@Rlina28 No, u didn't fill me out on anything. If u ask Maoris or google 'haka', you will know that haka does not mean war dance. And please tell me something I don't know because I knew eons ago that some hakas were used by Maoris to intimidate the enemy. Lastly, the siva tau is not an idea that Samoans got from the haka. Various types of siva taus were performed centuries ago, long before Samoans knew about the haka. Trust me, I'm Samoan, I speak the language and I lived the life, so I know.
@theephraimite actually you're right... although its referred to most as a Maori traditional war dance, the word 'haka' actually means dance, or a dance accompanied by song... I didn't need to ask a mauli, so thank you google: maori dictionary lol... ooh yay! FULL TIME; SAMOA 49 NAMIBIA 12 ... CHEEE HOOOO!!!!
@Jooelz Sorry, but it does not mean war dance, although some of this type of dance are war dances - but not exclusively. The haka r used for other purposes, as well, such a welcoming people, not for war. Ask a Maori who knows the culture well, and he will tell you the haka is not always a war dance. On the other hand, siva tau means war dance, & that is the word that any true Samoan uses when referring 2 Manu's war dance, because not only is it correct, but, heck, it's Samoan & we r Samoans.
@theephraimite haka does mean war dance in maori... but i understand what you're getting at, as it is a samoan chant not a mauli one...
Mean sekia Samoa
@megspoppafluffy sole im samoan and i kno my history. i even kno Manu Samoa rugby hystory these are the kinds of things i do research on through famlies and through studies. so i can kno my identity there was never any types of war dances in samoa. the only thing that was related to war dance was The "oi moa e" siva and it was about chickens fighting. not war
I listened to this 'cuz they won the Las Vegas 7's Tournament lol

far man only if it was longer lols
That wasn't bad at all..Just some few corrections on the lyrics, its "malo le fai o le faiva" not "malo le fai fai"...lol...maybe you should do another one, with the correct lyrics...shotz to you uso
sole kapuni lo guku lo lapunda ma lo ia geio
@ulavalegurls a'e n wat e a la if i wanna do dat. just no worry. u myt learn sumfing
Se ioe. It's not a haka but spawnbreezie only called it that cuz it's almost the same thing. Manu Samoa got the idea from the nz all blacks and created their own n called it Siva Tau. So wats the big deal. Siva tau came from the idea of the haka. So jus let it be. Tonga n Fiji did the same thing. Nice chant by the way spawnbreezie. Some say you bite Fijis style but I say u were inspired. U should do more
On the description, you referred to Manu Samoa's chant as the haka chant. I just want to inform you that Samoa does not do the haka. It's called the siva tau, which means "war dance". Haka is a Maori thing which does not really mean a war dance.
Nah bei, leave the chants to the King.
@megspoppafluffy only thing that is false is your knowledge of knowing nothing about Siva Kau. so you should pa Kau ur head on ur keyboard and monitor. lol jk nah but for reals doe Samoa did BITE the idea from the HAKA.....
Ahhh shahhdup. O ou fela gae makaga ai samoa. Lol.. U Guy so negative. And trust i kno My samoan culture there was never a siva kau untill rugby world cup 1991. no war chants before that. Only a chicken fighting song "oi moa e" during the tongan wars was maulu'ulu siva
