- Hey Guys! Ya'll know I had to do a DIY Christmas decor video and I am obsessed with how these high dupes turned out! Also I wanted to mention that the inspiration for the textured ornaments was actually from crate and barrel, not pottery barn like I said in the video! These diy's are so simple but give you such a high end looking piece for a few dollars! I hope you guys enjoyed it and are able to create some of these pieces for your own home! Absolutely love these! Painting the toppers on the ornaments adds an amazing finish.

An idea I found recently to handle ornaments for painting: put a stick or brush inside the opening and tape it, and you can rotate to get full circles without marks of paint brush starting/stopping.
That would have made painting these a lot easier lol

I do not understand the “concrete look” for ornaments… there’s no reason that those colors should be used at Christmas… it’s not a natural scheme. I don’t want concrete balls hanging on my Christmas tree!
People who designed this stuff who come up with it have no concept of reality they’re running out of ideas so they come up with something stupid like concrete or stone who wants a stone looking ornament somebody somewhere said it was high end… and all of a sudden it’s the latest and greatest people don’t have minds of their own anymore. They just think they have to follow everybody else on CZcams or Facebook or TikTok or whatever you people need to wake up. Is this really a lot for Christmas honestly give me a break.
