- Hello folks! Today I want to show you my new restoration project. I found this survival knife at flea market. My attention was attracted by the guard of the knife and some inscriptions that were drawn through the rust. Well, let's start the restoration.

As, usual I use rust remover, then washed, dried ad oiled it. For polishing knife I used sand papers from 80 to 500 grit. At the end of the sanding, I polished the blade with a felt circle.
The guard of knife I cleaned with vinegar and flour. The handle of knife I made from the strong piece of wood and I used hidden tang of knife and with a nut at the end.
The scabbard I am made of natural leather with a free suspension of knife. As usual, I made an interesting and very tasty test for you. Thank you for attention!
The recipe of the dish!
Ingredients:
Pork knuckle meat, bay leaf, salt, black pepper with peas, onion, carrot, apple, water, homemade adjika.
Cooking method
We wash the knuckle, cut out if there is a seal on the skin. We make incisions and holes and put them in a saucepan, we also send salt, pepper, bay leaf there. Cut the onion in half, apple, carrot and put it in a saucepan. We do not pour water to the end. Cook for one hour depending on the size of the knuckle. After we take it out, let it cool down a little and lubricate with adzhika and put it in the oven for another 40-60 minutes. Bon Appetite!
Sincerely, Alex. Thanks for attention!
Good luck and health to everyone! With best wishes, Alex!

This is the best show for restoring anything that comes to your work desk. I am so happy I have found your channel because it's just that awesome plus it comes with a cooking segment...
Blacksmithing, carpentry, leatherwork... You are truly a man of all trades.

Thank you more! I'm glad to read. I am far from terrible events, although I know what war is.
This one was great. The humor was so fun! This has to be my favorite restoration channel because I'm always happy to see it in my notifications.
Thank you so much!
Your videos have so much to offer with a style and flair all your own. I have been watching for some time now. Watching you grow and progress as an artist in not only the restorations and crafts but the filming and editing as well has been an honor. I never miss a video and truly appreciate the work and effort you put into each project. Continue to be you and you will always have an audience. ❤
Hello, thank you very much. I am very pleased to hear that.
Awesome. Love your restorations, and the taste tests at the end.
Definitely my favorite.
I think it was made in eastern India, in a village called Saraon, and the maker called the knife: "England Polis" (Police), i.e., "English Police Knife."
Thank you for the information and attention!
You sir, turn junk into jewels. I have to admire and respect a man (or woman) that will show you their failures as well as their successes. And you keep your sense of humor throughout. You have made a subscriber out of me. And you can bet on the fact that I'll be trying out your recipes... You are truly a craftsman and chef. Thank you. (I'll get back to you on the chef part)..
Thank you so much!
Watching you fix this knife makes me feel....hungry 🤤
Алекс,чтоб Вам быть живым и здоровым 120 лет...у меня от Вашего видео слюни начали течь. Работа хорошая и готовка тоже... ещё немножко и запах мяса из телефона пойдет 😂

Nice video mate and very good work. Keep it up. 👍😁
Once again brother
You took junk and made treasure.
I’m an individual from the US that doesn’t laugh very often. This had me giggling and smiling like I did when I was in grade school. Genuinely entertaining content, my friend! If I had to describe your content in one word, it would be “adorkable” which, for those not familiar with made up words in English, is a combination of adorable and dork, dork being used in an endearing sense to describe someone silly and playful. Apologies if you know this already, I just don’t know how good your English is, plus the slang we use can be pretty ridiculous. Have a good one to all!
Just a little tip, if when working with threaded rod in a vice to avoid damaging the threads and rod turning in vice screw on a bolt to rod then put bolt and rod in vice bolt,t prevents rod moving around also protects the thread simple to lock it in better apply 2 bolts will be even firmer..
Hello! Thank you for attention and advice.
Superbly Fantastic!!
That pork part we actually deep fry that to crisp around here. Seeing that roast pork made me hungry.

The first thing you learn about Alex is that he is not a vegetarian. I don't eat pork but that looked really good. Great job on the knife, thanks for the videos. 😎
Thank you!
it is really rusty and i love to restore it....you got a subscriber from me dear
Great job by the way
Честно, обычно мне не нравится то что ты делаешь. Но сейчас это шикарное исполнение, я дважды пересмотрел!
Excelente trabalho!!!
Great content as always . Keep up the great work . Much appreciated. Awesome .😎
That is what I call a wall hanger. Pretty to look at, but not much else. I always prefer a full tang. Never liked rat tail tangs, much less what ever kind of tang they call that. Got caught on a boot knife that was built like that in my youth. Broke it first time I used it to try and make a tent stake in the woods. A shame too because the profile of the blade is gorgeous. Be safe.
Greetings! I noticed our tastes are similar in many ways! This is great. This blade and tang I remember tormented me a lot) Thank you for watching!
Excellent work! Closing in on that well-deserved 100k
I absolutely love the playfulness and teaching in your videos, you are awesome 😊💯🤩

One of the best knives I’ve seen and your leather work just amazing. I would find a lions head made from brass and put it on top of the stunning handle. Love your cooking that pork looks fantastic and I bet it tasted great 👍👍👍😊😊😊♥️

@@ScrewsAndTools You're welcome!
нож классный, отличная реставрация))
Brilliant work!
As always, nicely done ✔️
Great job....just notice the knives handles are generally not in the required shape...you can take a configuration on that...
Great job on the knife, the food looks good also.
You did an excellent job of recovering that knife from the scrap pile. While I am _not_ a fan of short-tanged 'survival' knives, you did a very good job of increasing it's reliability. 👍 Spot-on job with the creation of proper sheaf as well. 👍👍
I'm guessing that the personalized engraving on the one side of the blade was an 'extra'...I'm sure there's an interesting story behind it. 😊
Thank you so much! Nice to hear! ^_^
Amazing work!❤🙏
Really enjoy your work. Great job!
Once again, you’ve done an amazing job and provided good entertainment. I aways enjoy your channel.
