Came across this channel again recently, I stopped watching when Mike and Tristan were axed. Am overjoyed to see Mike back where he should be! I'll start watching again now!!
DITTO! I very much disliked the path the channel took (they even changed the name!) and barely watched more than a couple videos before deciding, Nope! I'm out! Was just looking for something to listen to/watch while eating and this popped up in auto search. So I'm like well, sure. Lets see what garbage they put up... wait... Mike? Mike's on the thumbnail!? Mike's on several thumbnails!? When the heck did that happen!?
I was among the backers who got screwed by the Coolest Cooler. It's made me very, very cautious about backing things that are more money than I'd be willing to toss in the garbage (so like, anything). I still go in for occasional campaigns (particularly if it's for a company that has successfully fulfilled previous campaigns) but even those are way rarer than pre-Cooler days. In retrospect, it was NOT the "Coolest"... :/

I was in on the Brandon Sanderson Secret Project Kickstarter at the Audio+Ebook level. I'm reading the first book now and it is so funny! I recommend it to all of you when it is available
My family backed the (now sharper image) cat eared headphones. The did colors changing and could be used as gamer headphones. Also you could let others hear what you were listening to. We also back some really cool dice that looked like a pagoda, each level was a different "size" of dice.

I have not done any of the funding for a product but I have donated a lot to go fund me to raise money for animals who need surgeries or help with health care.
Thanks for this review. I have backed and bought a couple of kickstarters, one a couple of variations, and one now, which will be delivered in May 2023. While not from Kickstart, I have a moderately sized Echoflow portable power supply, 500 watts which works well.
i like the guy who had a go fund me/kickstarter to make an egg salad sandwich or something. he requested a ridiculously small amount of money like $15 and got thousands, which i believe he donated to charity
I've backed some pc games like Rad Rodgers and my latest Iragon. As a retro gamer I've backed various books, new games, video documentaries and magazines. Mostly on the Commodore 64 and Amiga. As well as the modern retro revivals and events.
Wow, must be nice! I started a Gofundme for tornado victims and another for a lady who was fired from Goodwill bcz of taking a week off when her husband had surgery. How much was donated to both accounts? NOT A SINGLE PENNY. I still don’t know what to think about that
Never used kickstarter but I did order my Odin pro from indiegogo once I was able to afford it last February, it came in May. I watched and read many reviews about it.
