"Aura" by Serponge & Xender Game [All Coins] | Geometry Dash 2.11

- It's always great to see a new level by Serponge, as they're always of the highest possible quality. I still remember recording Space Magic as it was yesterday, so it's very surprising to me that it's already been 11 months. Well, I guess it's understandable that you remember great levels like this. Like Space Magic, this has a clear theme, where you're sneaking into a fortress to get to the core. I'm not familiar with Rain World myself, but Serponge told me it's inspired by that, and that reaching the core basically means you ascend. You start out by being outside the fortress, where there are a lot of drones watching. It starts off as mechanical, with the sweet bossfight at 0:44 by Xender Game. At 1:04, you go further into the fortress, where it turns digital, much like the world seen in The Matrix. Finally, at 1:37, you reach a pitch black void, which is the representation of the core. Hidden behind all the great visuals, there's so much symbolism, making this a beautiful "story" level. I can definitely go 11 months without a Serponge level if all of them are this amazing... but I'd certainly also take levels this great more often, Serponge. He really wants to hit 100K subscribers eventually, and I think you should help him out if you haven't already:

Viprin Certified. 4/4. This level only has one coin, which perfectly suits the theme of the level. It's hard to find and get, and is also very unique.
- 1st coin: Viprin Certified. In the block design at 0:12, you can see that it says "0". This number is usually 8, and the collectible at 0:20 is blocked off with the number 8 next to it as well. To unlock this, you essentially have to trigger 8 of the drones in the first Ship without dying. You have to go into the red zones, which is where they are looking, but still escape being caught by them. This is really hard to do for 8 in total, and requires a good amount of practice. It's a great way to use the unique gameplay elements of the first part for a coin. Of course, this is very hard to figure out. I tried to only click 8 times during the first Ship or the Wave before the collectible, but that didn't change the number at all. After getting the collectible at 0:20, the next one is found within the blocks at 0:23, where you can pass through the lines that are slightly darker. It's quite hard to see this collectible and the path to take. The collectible at 0:27 is the last one, and now you've basically set all the alarms in the fortress off. In the Ship at 0:32, there are some special red alarm lights at the top to show this. The boss at 0:45 is now slightly buffed, shooting 2 of the green and red spinning attacks at once, which is only 1 at a time in the normal route. Then, at 1:22, you'll find the coin, where you have to time the black orb perfectly to avoid the fakes. The final Ship at 1:30 is also buffed, where none of the saws in the middle of the path are present in the normal route. (The video on Serponge's channel features both the buffed bossfight and final Ship, but these are only for the coin route in the real level.) As you can see, the coin requires a lot of steps to get, which are both hidden and hard to get. But most importantly for a Viprin Certified rating, it's a very unique coin. The whole "story" of this level is sneaking into a fortress and making it to the core. However, to get the coin, you have to take the risky route and set off the alarms, which is cleverly done in the first Ship by setting off 8 of the drones watching the outside of the fortress. Understandably, this makes the level harder, as they know you're coming, and some parts are harder to get through. It just perfectly suits the theme of the level, while being original and requiring both searching and extra skill.

I think I have more fun making one big coin than 3 small ones, it lets me focus and imagine a scenario for it. But for non themed levels, 3 coins is probably the way to go!

Super confused about going about something. I play on PC and it's a part of the list that frequently gets updated, and this level is by far my favorite among favorites. However, trying to get the little 'particle', there's a single line in front of the area that you dive into in this one a t 0:20 to 0:21, effectively blocking the location entirely and preventing me from getting to the particle. Instead, I crash, and on the square on the far end of the 'diving port', a '8' appears, like an infinity symbol. Am I missing something, or has it been changed up since then? Would love to know. Thanks!
