My first game this morning in my Panther 88 was against a platoon of 3 of these, absolutely nothing I could do as I didn't even have enough pen to go through their lower plates and they could turn faster than I could circle them 🤣, we got a platoon of 3 Grille 15s on himmelsdorf, the Matchmaker should only match simular types of TDs, it's basically giving a team 3 extra heavies with 3 of these.
cmoon, playing 3 grilles in platoon is prob best way how to lose games
@@durachoks yeah I wouldn't do it myself, no idea how a tank that accuracy always seems to miss everything, just saying matchmaker shouldn't match up a 0 armour Grille against an almost impenetrable heavy armour TD, same as when it matches an amx 50b against a kranvan, it's about time WG ditched the basic light, med, heavy and TD classes for the purposes of matchmaking, it looks like they started alteady by giving tanks support, assault and sniper sub categories, now its just adjusting the matchmaker.

I can only imagine. I'm currently on the t5, and it's honestly not half bad, but I'm definitely excited for the higher tiers on this line
@@johnfarscape They need to give tanks weight. Like you shouldn’t have a full team of meta hulldown heavies and a team of average (maybe powercrept tanks).

I gotta say tho, the mino is as boring to play and similiar to the tornvagn in its gun and armor profile, sluggish and frustrating as all heck to shoot with.

With all the 5x xp, boosters and blueprints I made it from tier 5 to tier 8 in a single day which is a bit crazy tbh, another couple of days should get me to tier 10, it took me 4 months to get my first tier 10 about 8 years ago 🤣
Took me 10 years of ftp before getting first tier 10 tank lol. 8 months of premium gave me another 11 or 12 tier 10 tanks

Played a few games, its good hull down frontally, but as soon as you need to relocate or play not hull down then its an easy target.

The reason I despise tier X; everyone spamming gold and lacking skill of aiming and positioning. Pretty boring if you ask me. I prefer to outplay an enemy instead of outplay him by pressing the 2 key.

true, that's why I stick to tiers 6-9. And don't forget the horrible economy at tier X, even without shooting a single gold round, you basically just break even without a prem account.

You actually lose money if you aren't doing at least 3k dpg a game and not missing any of your shots and all the good players are going to blind fire intentionally and possibly miss

Hey man, I know the Vipera has a lot of attention. I'm on the CC-67 and I think that thing is really good at tier 8. Check it out when you get a chance.
i think the cc-67 is arguably better than the vipera, if you use the lower pen gun with higher dpm and better gun handling

The amount of RNG toward the end really ruined the match for me. Direct HE hit from M55/M53? 0 damage. Splash from BC 155-58? 0 damage. M55/M53 waiting an eternity to fire? 0 damage.
One thing that I love in italian tank is Italian guy yelling inside the tank.

Is it just me or does this vehicle line look a lot more like just a modern MBT concept than pretty much anything else in the game?
It's because they are modeled after the MBT-70, the joint US-(West) Germany design project that heavily influenced modern MBT design.

if you see any if these and you`re on lower ground AND the Minotauro overpeaks while angled, shoot the plate that`s right over/above the drive wheel.... that plate is only 27mm thick and if you manage to hit it, you can pen every single time.... :D had great fun doing this yesterday :D

I am assuming that the reason the stun doesn’t affect intra clip reloads is because it is mechanical and not a crew member doing the actions, making it immune to stun effects.
Man as of lately there have been tonnes of Minotauros at tier 10, literally the day of the patch.
And at tier 5…. 12 bassotos a side lol
I know this isn’t related to the minotauro, but the reason the amx 65 t is still so slow is because they didn’t keep the mobility buffs in; compare the current version to the test server version and you will see what I mean on tanks gg

Why is the symbol of the tier 8 and 9 not blue like other td’s? It’s like wg forgot that they are td’s and not heavies😂

I have 5 games in my Minotauro and I have it decked out with full bounty equipment and a 5 & 6 skill transferred crew. Mine did not play like the one in the video, it was 5 games & 5 losses, with 4 of the five losses being 15 to 0 total blow outs. 1 game we managed to kill 3 enemy, but it was still a blowout lasting under 4 min. I gave up and shut the game down after the 5th straight loss. So far my longest game in the T/D is 5min. 11sec.
You can paint a zebra to look like a horse, but it's still a zebra. You can call the Minotauro a skillet, a butterfly, or even a spoon, but I wouldn't call it a TD. It 's definitely has the characteristics of a brawling heavy. All except for the non-full turning turret, this is a heavy. Rock on QB
It’s sounds and looks really damn good
I think he is firing way too quickly without aiming much, but this tank is so forgiving that he can miss and still have many other rounds to try again. And it is an autoloader so it reloads quicker then its enemy, while tanking their shots. Insane tank to trade shots.
Has anyone else seen the glitch where the teir 7 though 9 tds are grey instead of blue in the team list.

This video shows exactly why I don't play heavy tanks and barely tier X. Sure, it is more than justified to shoot gold at a Minotauro, but with every more tanks like that going in the game, ever more players basically shoot gold only. In tier X I bet more gold is fired than regular rounds. How tf is a f2p player supposed to play like that.
The whole line is a joke, SMV CC-56 makes tier 6-7 matches unplayable, while his big brother Vipera and Mino of the spaghetti line is absolute OP
I free XP'd through Tier 8 with full upgrades and have them all plus the Vipera. I expected great Italian TDs and got them. I should have Tier 9 by Monday.
Hey I have a new tech tree idea it’ll be some Eastern European country and the tanks will be heavies that have random spaced armor everywhere and a 4 round auto-re-loader with 750 alpha. It’s top speed will be 70km and have autobounce angles on the sides and rear. It’ll be called the THT. VZ. TVP. CS STRV MLE 55.

Do not worry all. I have started to grind this line as it is clearly OP. Whenever I do this WG nerfs that line when I get to tier 9. Unfortunately for the game I am pretty casual and it takes a few months to grind a line up. Sometimes I even take a year or three off.
All of these tanks are trash with the exception of the tech tree tier 8 and arguably the tier 10 but tier for tier the 67 is better.

With x5 xp saved up it only took me 90ish battles to get through this line

It's only OP if you know how to play it well.
the lower plate is much worse than the E3, so it is penetratable. You actually don't need that much pen, 250 is enough to go through it most of the time, and basically every tier X apart from light tanks have that kinda standard pen.
I feel like the game is losing some of its tank identity. 268v4 and now the Minotauro (and the Tortoise to an extent at IX). TDs are not meant to be pseudo-heavy tanks. Bit of a joke.

The v4 is a tech tree vehicle, just like the Minotauro. They have similarly thick frontal hulls and fantastic damage. The v5 is a premium/reward vehicle only, meaning it is not relevant for comparison.

Being a heavy means you can bounce shots, and the v4, although not having a turret, can bounce shots better than the v5

HE bouncing was such a bummer for the enemy team.
Well when you have the top 1% of players bitching about HE for years and finally get it nerfed to uselessness, what do you expect? The old HE mechanics would have ensured he lost that game.
Jagpanzer will nuke it with one shot. Pen is 420 and damage 1450 i think or 1100 damage. This tank has Hull of 300 damage absorment. Thats kinda op!

Well this kind of video make me remember why i switch to world of warships instead of world of tanks. Got tired of seeing more tanks with always stronger armor and bigger guns pressing the 2 key right at the start of the battle. I still remember the old days when fighting a KV2 or a Maus was like fighting a Dark soul boss. It was pretty hard but you could beat them if you had at least 2 working brain cells. Now you just press the 2 key, if your opponent doesn't have 900mm of armor you should be fine. Where is the tactic ?
These are not TDs. It is a move by wtfgaming to reduce time per match. They do not want TDs in the back or camping, or sniping, as this augments playtime for a match various minutes. So they put these monsters, call them TDs, but they are disguised superheavies.
the Semovente M41 & Semovente 105/25 are far more interesting and balanced than the turreted Italian tds. Unfortunately WG decided to make an actual (overpowered) Italian heavy line instead of a TD line.
Wargaming isn't interested in trying to balance WW2 existing tanks/prototypes any more. It's all totally-not-MBT designs these days.

Typical move of WG. Reworked maps to literally shield all heavy tanks from everything till they can be fought face to face at point blank, then added new tech line that is twice OP than anything else in the game to make people jump on them ASAP and dump money, then when the rush will be over in 10 months standard rebalance will occur..

I just don't understand why it's not an autoreloader, why? That's the most interesting part of the Italian lines, the differences between the autoreloaders, the fact this line doesn't have one is bizarre.

Play it on 0.25 speed, it looks even more rigged. the aiming reticule is what looks like 10 feet off target when fired.

The ONLY aspect of his tank that was aimed at the enemy tank was his mouse. The reticle was COMPLETELY encompassed by the building alone.
