Ramrod is one of the coolest mecha.. it feels like the design that in the same time ends an era of daimos-like looking robots and enter the gundam era, because it have more complex look, and I like how he have part of his shuttle on the back as a jetpack instead of thrusters only in the foots. Rly one of the most badass looking robots from that era

I loved the moment which went something like this "The (temporary) peace treaty with the outriders forced us to disassemble Ramrod. But it did not forbid us to build an even more powerful 2nd version." And then Ramrod 2 flying into battle, being in flight mode already as powerful as Ramrod 1 in challenge mode.

Out of all the childhood robots show and TV series its the ramrod i wanted the most. Back then I was poor and its only a toy for rich kids but also the quality of plastic ain't great as the plastic the toys in transformers has now.
