Yeah, poor Moody for not being told sooner, but nobody is entitled to the romantic attraction of anyone else because said person is “nice” or has a good connection with you. People can’t control how they feel about others. There were signs she liked Trip from the beginning. Pearl could have been more upfront, but at the end of the day we are talking about a bunch of confused teenagers who are trying to figure life out.

I understand she doesn’t have to have the same feelings towards moody as he did towards her, but what she did owe him was the respect of not bringing someone else to his personal space he only brought her to. She knew that was his happy place he valued a lot. I found that extremely disrespectful, especially since it was to avoid him as well.

And point. Because as wonderful as Moody is, being nice doesn’t make you entitled to someone, which unfortunately is how Moody felt. He thought that just because they had a connection, she should have been romantically attracted to him, but she wasn’t. People can’t just control how they feel about people. Really all someone can argue is that in the hand-holding scene, Pearl was leading him on. But even then they were literally high and in their feelings. 🤷🏽♀️ I did think she and Trip needed to tell Moody earlier instead of her avoiding him though.

Right! Like if a guy I liked hooked up with my sister and my sister knew I like him I would be pissed off. That’s why I think moody has a right to be mad at pearl and trip. He had no right to call her a slut but he was allowed to get mad. His brother was always deemed better then him (getting girls, being a jock, never getting in trouble but moody is) I mean you saw the way Elena yelled at moody but barely said anything to trip

Am I the only one who did not feel bad at all for Moody?? Like just because he had feelings for her doesn't mean that she owned him anything. She was nothing but friendly to him, and she hide the fact that she was seeing his brother because she KNEW he would freak out and feel bad. If the roles were reversed we would simply tell the girl to get over herself, stop feeling entitled and acting over dramatic.

She really had better chemistry with Moody, I don’t know why girls always have the hots for the bad guy, so sad. Also, I think Moody was just jealous which is completely normal, he felt betrayed, the girl he liked and his brother were having a thing, of course he’d be jealous and even outraged. Everyone saying he felt entitled I don’t get it, he was just angry.
Trip wasn't a "bad boy". He was a normal dude, she happened to like him. It doesn't matter if moody was nice to her, because usually ur nice to ur friends.
