Man! Just watching you guys putting it together is fun! A full-scale jet put together in less than 20m. This is how every PNP plane should be made! No messed up wiring, just slide it in, lol.
Only wish those wingtip missiles are magnetic. So they don't break if you roll it over on the runway.

The enthusiasm you guys exhibited here is what all this is all about!! I just got the Thunderbird version recently. In the last couple of days I've been spraying it with high gloss Minwax. It's glassy smooth just like the real jets now! Looking forward to maiden at my new flying club which has a real full scale runway to use. Great video guys!!
I like also how the added plastic strengthens the canopy and keeps it from flexing.

Just got my E-Flite F-16 and I love it, I must say CG is a little tough to get on a smart 5000. I programmed my ESC to reverse thrust and it really shortens the roll out by a lot. Even with cheaters it still slows it down quickly. You and Bobby are amazing pilots and I’m using your middle of the battery bay suggestion for my next flight. She flew nose heavy on my maiden. Battery all the way forward. Following the book, found using a 105 mm CG and middle seems to balance it out. Please fly this plane and post more videos about it. You provide Great info. Happy flying!

Yep the plastic is great around the canopy's top edge I wish alot of my other foamies had this plastic edge. I notice when doing a lot of battery bay work the canopys top foam edge gets all dented and wrinkled if your not careful.
The ESC in my BNF E-flite 80mm F-16 was upside down like yours. The aluminum heat sink should be facing down toward the air duct for the EDF unit. After mine overheated and shut the motor off in the 90° Texas heat, I went in and flipped it over. Now it maxes out at 197 degrees instead of 225 degrees..

Would sure be nice..love big turbine w/LE slats, does make a difference..all about CAMBER, the "scoop" of the wing, more camber for slower flight or hard pitching manuvers like tight loops or turns, flat camber for speed and inverted😉👍

Still haven’t got my viper yet. The 80mm 16 is bad to the bone, not as light feeling as the 70 but super scale. Beats the pants off the 90
