You're the first reviewer I've found who has appreciated all that is the Lexus LC 500h. Nobody, so far, has done anything but rave about the V-8 model and the exhaust sound. My hat is off to you because you appreciate what the engineers at Lexus accomplished. Your trip to Dallas and the almost 40 mph was awesome. Imagine driving a car with all that power and being able to avoid the gas pumps. I do own an InfraRed with Toasted Caramel 2018 LC 500 and love it but if I had it to do all over again, I would have purchased the hybrid. It's not like it's slow....or anything and at my age, that type of car would have better suited me. The V-8 is great. I have no complaints at all but if anybody is looking to buy an LC 500, I would encourage them to think carefully and consider the hybrid. 600 miles on a tank full of gas in pretty damn cool!!

Any BMW,Audi,Mercedes or Jaguar parked next to that stunning sculpture will look painfully outdated and ugly. Great,outstanding job Lexus! You hit the competition to the ground once again!
I saw one in red here in Toronto, my jaw dropped ! And I have seen just about every exotic car out there and none gave me a shock like this car did.

Great review! I really enjoy your new channel. Keep it up. As for the car... I think I would go with the V8. That sound is glorious, and if you can afford the $100k price, you can afford the 15-20mpg you'll get out of it. It will also probably be more reliable, although Toyo hybrids last forever too.

Lexus outdid themselves with this car...but I would gladly sacrifice the extra MPG for the sound that the V8 version produces.
no one buys the hybrid for this for that exact reason- they basically don't even exist, lol. Also the V8 gets basically the same highway mileage anyway
There isn’t any road legal car that is more beautiful than this, especially in silver. I hope I could get it someday even second hand would be fine by me.

Lexus has one of the best logos, badge very classy.

After having driven a Lexus hybrid for 17 years, I have immense respect for the engineering that goes into the Lexus/Toyota hybrids. Really, they are currently the best type of vehicle when you consider: (versus pure EVs)

As great as a v8 sounds I think for this car a hybrid is a good idea as I would love to go on long drives in the mountains and all the side roads that come with that. So extra range would be great for this

I am in the same situation as you are... I saw the white one as Lexus invited me to see it, did not like it. i have seen the black one on the streets and i loved it, but i would have to see how these would look in person to know which to pick...

The materials are top quality, the dashboard could have better been planned out from my 10 old son.
I just love how you review cars for what they are and not what they should be according the spec sheet! So many so called reviewers out there (including the famous ones) review cars with prior biases based on 2 things; brand image and the spec sheet. The spec sheet says the car is very heavy? Then yes you can be certain that it would be mentioned in the review even though they were not able to tell the difference. Or the good old cliché's. Toyota/lexus= boring! Or they use to be boring but look at them now! (then next generation comes) Toyota/lexus are known to be boring! Look at them now!
Only thing missing is apple CarPlay and autonomous driving

94 degrees! In scotland i have never ever experienced high temp like that. In high summer if we get past 80 degrees its a heatwave.
Why would Lexus give you a flagship car for a week?
5 sec. 0-60 seems pretty fast for that heavy car but anyway its a cruiser and GT and even more its for saving fuel ! ...so, i have this V6Hybrid as an older model in my SUV and all i can say is ...i stil love it....and it sounds good when not pushed through a fake noise system !! czcams.com/video/3bSB_TdBA8A/video.html
Amazing car. Loved everything about it. Except... what's up with the shifter? Left & back for Drive. Left & forward for Reverse. Why? To take up less space? How do you put it in park or neutral? I hope it's less prone to mistakes than Jeep Grand Cherokee's shifter (the one that killed Anton Yelchin) -- that has AFAIK been discontinued.

GREAT CAR for real but....it has to be a V8, it's just way too heavy to be a hybrid and loose sense about fuel efficiency and mileage. But I understand that it is just a marketing thing.
