I live in Missouri (originally from SoCal L.A.) I'm friends with several Mo State Troopers and I regularly give them the business by referring to real Troopers, The Arkansas State Troopers. California CHP is a joke, no PITS over 35 mph and never if suspect is known to be armed. Pathetic. Wish I was in Florida still cold here at least for a SoCal man.

Just watched a chase from LA today. It lasted almost 2 hours and put so many people at risk. They need to take notes from ASP and see how a chase is done!
LA is densely populated. There is no possible way to do a pit safely whether on a local street or freeway. A over 100mph pit requires large empty spaces. Not going to happen in LA without also damagin surrounding properties.

i wonder where they are from. 85+ is the norm through the city here. limit 65. ring road 100 isn't uncommon. past that not many do because fuel is so $$. streets are a bit more tame. 55-60 in 45. try to stay about 50 if you are passing cops.

I swear I can feel my blood pressure spike every time one of these miscreants whines "I didn't do anythiiiinnnngg." Has anybody ever heard an officer say "Oh, you didn't? I'm sorry, well then you're free to go." Also, does anyone know if there are any statistics as to how many times a high speed pursuit ends in the culprits favor? I'm sure some get away, but is it a high number that these idiots keep trying to do it?
"Byrd of a Feather" with such a finesse on that PIT. Jacob never fails to make it interesting. Either he's disabling his own vehicle, taking out another's, or he's love-tapping cars.
