This helped a lot. Love your videos! You explain concepts very well. I was stuck on my scratch project but with your help, I was able to finish my project. I made a ghost game and instead of the bar on the bottom, I went with a 60-second timer, and also added an increase in the speed of my ghost spirit after the player scores more than 5 points.

Hello! Do you know how I can submit on cs50? I believe there has been an update that changed the process, and now I am not sure how I can submit my lab.
Login,make sure you click file in the top left and save it to your computer before exiting and iff not you maybe have multiple sets of code on multiple sprites (Like the characters) and just didn't realise the codes still there.Good luck fellow learner
I followed the steps you laid out and only changed my sprites. But when the ball touches the paddle, I want it to go to a random position to let the score keep going up, but it just passes through the paddle rather than going to a random position. did i do something wrong?

I set the score to zero and every time the event happens to be increased by 1 but I don't know why it increases randomly by 5 or 8. Any ideas?

if you know how to send it to random place please do tell
might be abit late but there is a "pick random" operator which you can use to randomise which direction the ball moves
