NJ HIIT now offers training runs for fire fighter candidates. The course is a parallel replica to the actual Physical Performance Test with minor differences such as weight and techniques. Created by a career firefighter and owner of the NJ HIIT Cross training and performance facility. Ace the Physical Test on Game Day! Is this the Current 2016 test or just a blast from the past
It's the 2016 course as well. Coach Jose from
NJ HIIT is also a career firefighter in New Jersey and was part of the protocol testing for the NJ civil service physical exam in 2015. 👍🏼
hey I have a question I take mine on the 16 of nov. they said to pass u need to complete this in 3 mins ....its that possible
Hi Malik, this is a Pass/Fail test. You need to finish in under 5 minutes (300 seconds) to pass the test.
Iv been practicing at the course they have in Camden nj ...my best time was 3 mins in 10 seconds
Litty
i could probably do that...
Aidan McWhirter yeah the CPAT isn't very hard, but just because you can pass the CPAT doesn't mean you can be a firefighter, you still have to go through the 3 month fire academy where they will work you just like in the military, and the CPAT isn't comparable to what you will actually be doing once you are on the job, actually fighting a fire in the extreme heat, wearing full gear which ways more than that 50lb vest, more like 70,80 lbs, the actual hose lines used to fight a fire weight 4x what this little piece of hose weighs, people forget that this is a small piece of dry hose, when you have a 200 or 300ft line charged, that's hundreds of gallons of water you are pulling around, not to mention the pressure of the nozzle pushing you back. If you are preparing to be a firefighter, I highly suggest that you don't train to pass the CPAT, train to do the job. Also, (I just got to the dummy drag), I hate that they always use like 150, 160, 170lb dummies, the average man is heavier than that, they should at least use a 200lb dummy, in a big believer in training for worst case scenario, play it safe and use a 250lb dummy.
Ranger 18 are you a fire fighter, if so I have a few questions on the job to see if I’m up for it.
LOL! Things sure have changed from the old days. This is beyond an easy frosty cake walk.
Where is this area located

Kudos for the video content! Apologies for chiming in, I would love your initial thoughts. Have you heard about - Rozardner Lucky Interview Reality (do a search on google)? It is a great exclusive guide for firefighter interview tips without the headache. Ive heard some amazing things about it and my cousin after many years got excellent success with it.
Your hose weights are WAAYYYY off.
