As I’m watching, I decided to try the ginger on my hip. In about 20 minutes, it heated up and when I stretch it to the point where it normally aches, I feel no pain. This is a shareable gem.

my Back to Eden book fell apart several years ago. I found it in the early 70’s and used it raising my 5 children. Just ordered another one along with Barbara’s book

Love these home remedies. My daughter developed a boil at her groin when she and I began a new exercise program. We "asked for the old paths" and used a home remedy passed to me by my maternal Grandma. I soaked a piece of bread in milk, poulticed the place with it, covered with a heating pad. It caused the boil to drain (wasn't infected yet, but contained old dark blood...it was on the way). I repeated about three times over a few days and the boil healed and never gave her another problem.
My mom used to use onions for earache and it worked nicely. Nice information sister Barbara. Back to Eden is the classic herbal treatments

My husband got a foot ulcer, I placed a steamed onion on his foot 2-3 times to get the infection break through.
It is important to follow her directions about the garlic. I used woven gauze instead of cloth, grated garlic instead of slices placed another woven garlic gauze then placed the wet side on the bottom of my husband's foot overnight to help heal an infected foot ulcer.
My husband thought the burning feeling was the garlic working. The garlic was left on overnight, in the morning he had several large blisters on the bottom and one side of his foot. The blisters opened for draining, however the skin was not removed. The biggest blister came off with gentile rubbing in a warm tea tree oil foot soak. His foot leaked green garlic juice for a week😂. (Green because the garlic oxidized) My husband is eating 1TBL chopped garlic 3x's a day as an antibiotic for his foot.
I did that for foot fungus. Had a blister like a 3rd degree burn. 😫 I didn't know that you cannot pu garlic BY ITSELF directly on the skin. I discovered that I should have mixed it with olive oil.

@@B12478 It helps your stomach from ulcers, ibs....and it helps with parasites. I use 1/4 to 1/2 tsp. It adds some spice to your coffee.

I tried the onion on the soles of the feet for my toddler last night - he has been coughing past 4 days - last night after the onion was placed in a sock , wrapped in plastic, he only coughed 3 times last night. Instead of continuous cough. This works better.

Could you do a lecture on demodex and skin associated diseases. Like rosacea? I have a big problem and I know many people have it as well. Also charcole capsules and silica as I think I had picked up a bug in majorca atthe same time a celeb had from water that was contaminated in a storage tank and a friend had sibo but then had what was an ulcer I used fresh alovera and lady's fingers er to keep acid from hurting and also did cider vinegar when I'd healed the ulcer it was sore but to build the acid balance so I could eat food it's easy to become unbalanced and stuck and feel dreadfully and medication was hit and miss
From the doctors was only short term to get a balance

Are there any suggestions for impetigo? My son had a breakout of it last month. We did cream and antibiotics, and it's back. Would "boils" be the same as a skin infection like impetigo?
His immune system is weak meaning his diet is terrible. Start by changing his diet and giving him smoothies made at home and vitamins. Mix a few drops of tea tree oil in coconut oil and rub him with it after a shower with a towel and soap. Keep him on clean sheets and pillow cases. Once it's gone make him some elderberry syrup with clove or buy some. Have him take a spoon daily.
