Thats exactly how I saw it too, if he doesn't feel like the situation that resulted from his actions were that bad and didn't fear them, he would more than likely go on to be a problem child and worse when older. I was lucky enough to have a father give me these kind of talks and a whoopin when I did something really bad. I was only spanked by my dad like 5 times in my life, it really doesn't take much to gain life long respect for consequences at a young age, just as it doesn't take much to have no fear or respect for consequences if you are treated lightly.

A teacher came and got me once because her student (NOT special needs) was trying to climb out the window which led out to a street and she wasn't allowed to restrain. That poor little 5 year old. When kids get in trouble in school, it's because something is wrong. He reminds me of my son, who kept leaving school in 3rd grade. It turned out kids were bullying him and nothing was done about it. He actually tried to sign himself into another school when he was 10 years old. After I saw what was going on at his school with my own eyes I let him go to the other school. He was assigned a school psychologist who told me he was suicidal. Ten years old. He had even been in gifted classes. That poor little 5 year old. I think that's why a lot of black people end up in prison. They're treated like trash as kids, even as toddlers. That said, too many white people raised kids like 10 year olds when they're in their damn 40's and beyond. They're raised to be useless because mommy and daddy did everything for them all their lives. I see the pain in G's face. When you know how they're being treated will ruin their future. BTW, my son is doing very well now.

The police thought it was a targeted killing. It was reported that he had $75,000 in cash on him when he was killed. He was rarely in school. Even when his mother brought him to school each morning, after being threatened with prosecution for the kid's numerous unexcused absences, he'd just run away again. [Oops. Edited spelling error] In an era when teachers are fleeing the classrooms, we need to come up with something better than we've got because the number one reason people are leaving the teaching profession isn't the low pay, long hours, and all that.
Teachers are bailing in frightening numbers because of the behavior of the students. Children who know they can't be touched, that their parents will attack the teachers and sue the school and district if they are disciplined, behave accordingly.
Even young kids terrorize, berate, bully, and physically attack teachers now. And administration refuses to do anything about it because there's nothing they Can do.
As another side, you should definitely watch the horror stories teachers and administrators have when students attack, hospitalize, even attempt to murder the teachers.
The number 2 reason teachers flee the profession is because of the parents, who threaten and abuse teachers instead of getting their children straight.
Because parents don't care about education, their kids don't care, but the problem is so bad, teachers aren't allowed to punish the child by sending them out of the class or put them in a time-out situation.
Now the teachers have multiple students doing this and no teaching can happen at all because the teachers are try to deal with the horrible kids in the room.
Many schools now cannot suspend or expel students. They rarely call law enforcement. The district tries to bully attacked teachers and staff not to press charges.
It's a disaster. A real and true disaster happening and schools also no longer hold anyone back. The child as is will graduate and be shuffled right into the community for the public to deal with.
And what kind of people do these kids turn into. Check the stats on that.
Now, in California, there are Far Left politicians, bureaucrats, and a lawyers who want to close jails and prisons. They don't even prosecute criminals yet they talk down to victims, saying they don't understand the high minded ideals they're trying to accomplish. And more disturbingly, the Prosecutor's Office only recruits Defense Attorneys, which effectively means no one represents The People.
This is why when criminals get caught, they're essentially booked and let back out a few hours later, even for high crimes and misdemeanors.
So, as a result, we have escalating crime, criminals who get turned loose and the population is starting to take matters into their own hands.
Only for the victims and people who are helping to be threatened with arrest if not arrested. They're told they have to leave it to the police, who often show up very late or not at all.
    Where does it start?
With people who don't discipline their kids because the State will take them out of the home and put them into a system that endangers the child.
The lady in the video was telling the mother that she can "beat" the child on the butt using her hand, not weapons or cruel methods.
The interesting thing is that few people think that every child is different and there are some antisocial, insane, kids of all ages out here and people are talking about reasoning with unreasonable mindsets.
Was also interesting is how rarely the concepts of coddled out of control kid can and does immediately affects the quality of society over all

@@fyvefouroh Same, but honestly in the black community "beat your kid" is a common phrase and can often include some type of device like a stick (switch) or belt or wooden spoon. The cops were literally saying "Just don't leave any marks" in case someone calls CPS on them.
There's a line between abuse and discipline. Beating your kid is lazy parenting.

@@willvr4 I understand what you mean, obviously you should not get carried away, its a punishment to make them learn their lesson, not make them outrageously terrified of you, hate you and worse get serious injury. I was hit with a switch once by my Nana, not fun. Don't remember what I did but whatever, I must've done something because she never did anything like that. Also she is from a different generation, that was more likely a common thing then.
I do believe the cops clarified to not use weapons, but just spanking is fine, which I would agree, it worked for me. I think they were probably worried the mom wasn't gonna do anything and the behavior would continue. Lots of kids definitely have it easy thanks to only having a mom in the house and no meaningful discipline. Some moms definitely are super hero's and can manage to do it all, but unfortunately not as many can manage it and just wanna coddle and baby their kids, which is fair. The father is usually the one to be stern and handle the punishing.

@@willvr4 One more thing sorry, BEATING is different from getting a spanking in my opinion and I believe its necessary a couple times and after that it would usually keep the kids from doing anything they KNOW they shouldn't. If they didn't know then its fine, just talk about how whatever they did wasn't the right thing and why.
