Been playing around with AI upscaling and interpolation and thought it would be fun to work on this video which is really hard to find at good quality.
Sorry if the audio doesn't quite match up in places. Best quality video I could find was for the Japanese version and some of the mouth flaps just don't fit the English voices because of this.
The cartoon uses various frame rates for the different elements so it was difficult to find good settings, and I ended up having to split it into multiple scenes to get the best results. Frame rate isn't constant because of this and there were 2 scenes where I couldn't get the interpolation working at all.
Still I enjoyed working on this and might post more things like this in the future.
