This toy hauler is so nice. We enjoyed so much going to the Texas showroom. Next Christmas will be celebrated in our new lux. The L shaped sofa is wonderful. I am a larger girl and it was so comfortable.

I thought FB meant Front bath. Usually you sacrifice something when getting a toy hauler but if this were a Front bath with dual sinks and have a 14ft garage instead this would be truly the coach to beat!

Did I miss the capacities of the tanks? How much fuel? Why separate the gas tanks? (I have had 2 THs and I would not want the tanks separated.) What is the weight of the coach? How much black, gray, and fresh water? Do I need to purchase higher rated tires or did you put G rated tires on the coach? What is the GVW?

What kind of weight can the loft support? Im to use it for storage not sleeping.

Is the undercarriage rubberized under coated to prevent rust? How well insulated are these rigs? I plan on living in a toy hauler year round and staying warm in the winter is a big concern.
Thanks Timber Wolf! You would need to talk to your Factory Rep about undercoating. All our models are insulated for full time use. We engineer our luxury fifth wheels with the full timer in mind. That means from the chassis through our final inspection process our fifth wheels are built to withstand the rigors of full time living. And they are insulated to withstand the varying temperatures of our beautiful country.
If you are able to come and visit we can show you our 3 inch walls with an aluminum welded cage with graphite infused closed cell insulation. Our fully insulated heated chassis. Our 3 inch floor with an aluminum welded cage, insulated with 2 forms of insulation and a marine grade tongue and groove plywood with hand laid flooring.

Sick! My wife and I are big boaters but new to RVâs. We have been looking at Grand Design 399TH, which is awesome. However, this looks much nicer so now I have more homework to do. Is Luxe the absolute highest end for 5th wheels/ toy haulers?

If possible I would recommend coming to our factory for a personal tour (see link below). Then you can come to your own conclusions. When you are looking please do your diligent research. I agree the 399TH caught my eye but the quality seems nicer here ---- the only thing the GD had was a slide to deck from kitchen not the bedroom/Garage

One objection to the floorplan is it looks like with slides in, you can't easily get into the garage, fridge, or front bedroom/bathroom. Could you not put those doorways in the center of the coach to allow access even with slides in?
Thanks for you comment Kelsey Minton! Yes you are right about getting to the fridge. You wouldn't be able to get to the fridge with the slides closed. You can get to the bathroom and bedroom with the slides closed. You could get in the garage from the rear ramp. If you didn't option the side patio there is a door to the garage in it's place. Have you guys had people put solar arrays on the roof? If so what kind of kwh range?! As I'm in love with this trailer and would want to add a full solar array?
Hi Ionic! We have done solar on MANY of our units. I'm not sure of the range at the moment, but I will find out the answer and get back to you as soon as I can.

Ionic, our service department says depending on the length of the unit they can get up to 2500 watts of solar on the roof. Hope that helps in your research! Please let us know if you have questions!
Phenomenal that exceeds expectations and I could easily see it being so I really love the 48 fb luxe toy hauler I've looked into it a bit and obviously I could upgrade and change things after the fact but what are the options for having everything in the campers being full electric to have only natural gas as a back up reserve for the Onan generator?
Ionic, another great question. Unfortunately, our furnaces run off the natural gas. Everything else could be electric including the stove and oven.
Can the washer and dryer go in the garage area?

You would have 14 feet 4 inches.
Price of extra water about 150 gallons and two sinks for washing hair and no elect all pulley systems for hauling up toys, no need for extra gas basically, if you have not guest a hair salon on wheels focus on People with bisabilitise!

You REALLY need to do two things:
1) Make the decks WEATHERPROOF. Currently, you have to close them whenever it rains - or they will be destroyed. This is nuts. You have to constantly watch the weather.
2) Move that toolbox door in the beaver tail INSIDE the three-season doors. In case you forget #1 and it rains with the deck deployed and awning closed, all your tools rust.
Note that this problem is not unique to Luxe, all the toy haulers have these issues. Lippert and/or Moreride - are you listening?
