We are thrilled you liked your house themed wand - we TRULY loved making the wands for this box. Every wand was different, no two were the same so that way it truly could be like the wand chooses the wizard and it's been fun for us to see the unboxings to see who got what wand.
Behind the scence we know Patronus Potions put a lot of time and thought into into this box and to really try to come up with something different since there are so many boxes now, they are definitely putting that much thought into year 2 so we do hope to see you unbox that one as well. I do know they do have a "petite" box this time around as well as the full size box so price wise it may be something to look into for all.

Thank you so much! I'm so sad the potion was small -- I realize people probably want a larger one but with this specific one it was only enough for one drink! If Dustin unboxes our next box there will definitely be a much larger potion in there!
For their first box I quite enjoyed the items, really loving the pin! I'm also assuming the box was done by a one-(wo)man team in house so not bad at all :) I do agree with the price not meeting the value of the box and being consisted of inexpensive licensed filler items, but once again I'm keeping an open mind with it being their very first box. I also appreciate the hand packaged touch to every item, and I was kind of expecting to see a bigger sized potion but I guess there wasn't really an iconic potion in the first book. Looking forward to the upcoming boxes to see what they come up with next, I really love their potions that I see on Instagram 😍✨

First you are super adorable and I love the collection in the background. As for the box I think it’s ok I don’t think it’s worth the 80. I do like that they carefully packaged it all. My favorite piece is the enamel pin.
It's so hard with international shipping! We are located in Canada and we have some of the worst shipping prices! Unfortunately when we do the box we don't focus on that shipping number -- we put a lot of love and hard work into this box! We've learned a lot and are taking it and moving forward for our next box!!

Muttley the dog! And nope! The box isn't licensed -- it's fan made but we figured we could put a few items in there! It is advertised as 8-10 items but we wanted to add some more magic! We have taken the feedback on merch and will move forward with it. Thanks so much for your input! We are always looking to improve 🥰

Hey Dustin! Thanks for the awesome unboxing! Im so sad you don't feel the value is there! We definitely did the numbers and for a fan made box we thought it was definitely there! Shipping definitely adds a nightmare! I tried to go for a fun wearbale instead of the usual t-shirt! Your keychain, wand and socks are all house related! Also the potion is small because it's supposed to be enough for only one person to drink! Our #7 was much larger - I truly loved this unboxing! Thanks again for supporting our first box!
Thats what the red stone was on the keychain! I thought it was the Philosophers Stone! 😂 Work has been nuts and i open this box as soon as i got home becuase i couldn't wait. Haha i was a bit tired! Lol
And believe me, I know shipping prices can be insane! And they go up every year 😢
Yes! Shipping prices (especially when you're a small business with no traction) can be insane -- but the more you ship the better the rates get! It's due to Canada doing everything by weight and it's honestly a nightmare! -- not a worry! I'm honoured you did a video for us! Lumos and Love!

This is a very pretty box but I don’t feel like it was worth $80. I do get that there a small shop though so I know that plays a big role. But ya, overall it was a nice box but not really worth the big price tag.🤔😅
Hi sweets! Thanks so much for your input! The box was not $80. Unfortunately international shipping plays a role and from Canada to the US for a tracked box is $20 usd. Making the box $60 and tracking $20. Next time I will include a retail value for each item as the box is worth well over the $80 from our shops! But I truly appreciate input it helps us grow but I did want to let you know the box was not priced at $80!

And that's totally okay! Not everyone is a fan of hyper realistic photos! I was in awe at the amount of work she put in - it was a really large project for her! We've heard good things but everyone has an art style preference!!
