Why the Dry Scoop Energy Supplement Challenge Is Dangerous

  • “The dry scoop challenge” is an alarming new trend, and our investigation found that teenagers and other gym enthusiasts across America are gulping energy powder down without mixing it in water, and it can be dangerous. 20-year-old professional dancer Briatney Portillo says she suffered a heart attack after dry scooping. A different workout supplement called “Dark Energy” contains a potentially dangerous chemical stimulant. We went undercover to a store that was selling it, even though it was banned by the FDA.
