Re price: I live in Texas and you can't even get a fajita plate for $20 anymore. All the Mexican/Tex-Mex restaurants have almost doubled their prices over the last 5 years or so. I was floored all this was only 20$. For dinner!
This looks like a great lunch place (although not sure it’s open for lunch). We bought the ultimate dining package for our upcoming cruise so we might have to double up some days to try them all.
We were on the Oasis Jan 2020 and it does not have Sabor anymore. It’s been replaced with Playmakers which is where I think Royal is going with all their new ships and the amplified ones. We go on Harmony next month though and can’t wait to try Sabor. Looks like a great value! Thanks for sharing.

Nice video guys. Been contemplating Sabor for my November 2022 of Harmony. What stops me is I live in Los Angeles and we have great Mexican food here as you probably know. And why are they removing Sabor from some ships? Word is Sabor is on its way out.
We are so glad you liked the video. Lol yeah you probably have a lot more Mexican restaurants where you live than we do. Sabor is on its way out for the new playmakers and also el loco fresh. Playmakers is nice but we have lots of sports bars at home and I would choose Sabor.
I have tried Sabor 3 times all on Liberty and unfortunately all 3 have not been great. The gauc was good everytime but everything else was hit or miss, mostly miss. I feel like it might be catering to much too the older audience maybe and is a bit bland for my taste.
Thanks but this would by a pass for us. Does not even compare to the other specialty restaurants like Chops, Park Ave or Hooked. Menu section is small with only cheaper items. Seems to be a waste of money for better free options on the ship.
On the Allure it was delayed due to COVID however its next dry-dock is in Barcelona next spring (2023) which will include aligning it to the current Oasis class standards. Hope that helps Chris! Happy Travels 🦩

We haven’t tried Hooked yet but it looks amazing!! It does seem that Royal is phasing Sabor out.
