Monumental heavy lift: Liebherr LTM 1750-9.1 tackles pedestrian bridge across largest model railroad

- Worlds largest miniature railway is expanding! No more free space in the first building so another building is needed. It already exists but on the other site of the water which has to be crossed. A 25 meters wide steel bridge was built to get the visitors and model trains too into the other building in 15 meters of height. The contractor using the massive mobile crane Liebherr LTM 1750-9.1 which is beeing assembled in front of the historical building with luffing jib. A Mercedes heavy haulage transport delivering the new bridge and it is beeing installed sucessful. Now the Hamburg Miniature Wonderland can use additional 3.000 m².

Mich würde echt mal interessieren was so eine Dienstleistung kostet. Alleine was für ein Fuhrpark nach Hamburg gefahren ist und die Manpower. Dann noch das Auf- und Abrüsten. Solche Summen kann ich mir schwer Vorstellen bzw. schätzen wie teuer sowas ist.

War er hier ja auch. XD Die haben schon 1 Jahr vorher angefangen zu planen und zu prüfen "ist der Boden stabil genug" usw. nicht so wie bei Ronny seinerzeit wo einfach 20 Tonnen Kies lose aufgeschüttet wurden.

Der Kran steht seit einer Woche am AK Fürth/Erlangen... Einbau von Stahlträgern in Brücken der A 73 über die A 3... seh ich jeden Tag 2x das Gefährt ;-)

SO ein Einsatz bei einem Hamburger Original und KEIN Hamburger Fahrzeug, sieht schon unpassend aus. Wenn Thömen anderweitig beschäftigt war und dies der einzige und nächstgelegene freie Kran war, könnte ich es nachvollziehen, alles andere nicht.
@@DPSGKjG Genau, allerdings sind diese 750t Krane auch nicht so dicht gesät. Großer Kran, kleiner Kran, ca. 5 Begleitfahrzeuge mit Zubehör. Ein Tag/Nacht Anreise, ein Tag Aufbau und Hub, ein Tag Abbau und zum Anschlussauftrag. Ganz schöner Ritt.

So wie der Kran hier an der Baustelle angekommen ist, gibt Hersteller Liebherr das Gewicht mit 99 t an.

Das Geländer wird beim Zusammenbau der Gitterspitze benötigt, wenn u.a. die Seile eingefädelt werden, dann steht es richtig herum. Zu sehen hier bei ca. 08Min50s czcams.com/video/AxjO7FzULuc/video.html

anscheinend hat der bau und eibau der brücke 1,5 mio euro gekostet. aber obs stimmt weiss ich nicht

I don’t get it, why do they have to bring in a 750 ton crane only to lift something that weighs somewhere around 20-50 ton? In my opinion it is waste of money for both the crane company and the person that hired this crane. You could have hired a 200 ton crane and it would have done the job. And lastly how much would this crane cost to rent for a day?
try to move 38,5 t on 49 m with a 200 t crane, it could work when you blow up the building in front
It's all about the radius. The 750 ton rating is for a load very close to the crane. It goes way down when you're dealing with a jib that long.
The LTM1230 cannot be equipped with a jib like the one in the video. So it has to outrigger its mast much more with the result that on 49m reach it can only lift 2,5tons max.(!)
The LTM 1750 in the shown configuration can lift 42tons on that reach. I had a look in the load-tables and found that the LTM1750 was the "smallest" possible crane for this job.
@@dela65 even then it won't. A slight look in the load tables helps to see this.
@@grokranfan8578 this was ironic, when you blow up the building you can drive closer. I know the capacity of an LTM 1200 or something else well. Ask yourself why i knew the exact parameter of the job :-)
