What a weak novel ... initial 50% of the novel dealing with sadism!!! Then ... because we're stupid! We have to believe that years and years later the abused all of a sudden become ... what!!!
This was crazy 😮 Many times I wanted to stop listening but couldn't.
There are families living a nightmare like this everyday. 😢
People are thus evil. I was married to one. This book, I didn’t finish listening to, brought up ugly memories.

This actually happened, I live in grays harbor and remember the case. Those poor kids and the adults that were wore down and abused and killed.
