I appreciate Claudio's class. He doesn't feel the need to bury WWE or their performers.
@@secoTheSonicFan now that’s true too. Nobody in wrestling is too “golden” to get buried-some people (not just Eddie Kingston) really do hate Claudio, some probably really do hate Ruby Soho…you name it, they’re just as liable to be buried as the next person.
I guess all I was saying was that I was happy that Claudio didn’t because I’m sure that there were some people in WWE he really didn’t like or get good vibes from.
But again, you’re right, very many can bury him too. Again, very many not named Eddie Kingston (or even affiliated with Eddie Kingston)
He is one of the most underappreciated and underrated stars in wrestling history. He deserved way better singles push than he did
@@syko2695 triple h would’ve given him the spotlight in a mid card title for sure rn.
@@conormcgregor8451 He had the US title and like 7 tag reigns, I'd say the tag belts are midcard
@@conormcgregor8451 Nah, we mean MAIN EVENT championship stuff. He held the US title damn near 10 years ago. He held the tag titles with Sheamus, he’s already been in the spotlight of the mid card over the last 10 years. He should’ve been a main event champ already in WWE. ROH did him well on giving him their main event title.
"You wanna know, but you also wanna be surprised"
Claudio just summed up the very essence of professional wrestling in that one sentence.
Nah. You dont want to know. You just want to be surprised like it was when wrestling was good.
Cloudy o is pathetic, been wrestling for over 20 year's and can't do a basic promo

@@OmSingh3D Which means nothing. All the ROH belts are worthless at this point. At least until the promotion is actually running again.
Vince actually wanted him to be world champ too!
Problem was, he believes Cesaro is missing charisma and getting over.
@@savagereaper6291
Bro, it's on the rise with those belts being part of AEW's TV. It's like the belt doesn't make the champ, the champ makes the belt. I would believe this is the case for Castagnoli and the ROH World Title too. IMO, the titles are being showcased decently well. At least the World and Pure titles. Need FTR to do more justice to the tag team belts. I had forgotten they are even the champs...
And yep I also wish ROH is repackaged soon and starts running again.
The fact he was never WWE Champion is disgusting tbh
There's always that one fan who wants every wrestler to be the top champion 😂
@@lilachie and then when a wrestler is champion they start turning on him, they are all sheep nowadays
Obviously he is an amazing wrestler, but better than that - He honestly just seems like an all around good person.
I think the real reason that no one wants to say is because you don’t want to burn your bridges. Vince McMahon’s vision was no good for many superstars. Had Triple H been in charge I don’t think we’d see half of the people who left to aew
Cesaro is a god damn role model.
Claudio is always a class act. Feels like he will have another run in WWE before he retires.
So diplomatic. Like I'd imagine the way WWE used him and the reality that he was probably never going to elevated higher than where he was (despite knowing and being told that he's more valuable than that as a talent) had a hell of a lot to do with why he left but there's no way to say that without sounding negative so he just doesn't say it.
Cesaro was mismanaged from the time he entered the company.
For some of these guys, I do think it's a case of right wrestler/wrong timing.
If Cesaro could get into a time machine and be dropped in around 1992 just before WWF started to struggle and slowly lose key stars, with the writers still there, I think he would have made a big impact and had just the right guys around him left there to have the matches he needed.
WWE's writers have been poor since around 2002 onwards for me and it's not just the writing either that deteriorated.
Too many chefs, too many PPVs, too many in ring promos, too many over the top gang bangs, they've just forgotten that less is more with this stuff.
Even something as simple as the rings sounding less impactful, everything has gone backwards, this wasn't just a Cesaro problem.
This guy is the dj DJ lemighu of wrestling I know I messed his name up but no joke he is. So good so humble he doesn't need to do all this extra stuff he lets his play or wrestling do his talking
What a classy guy. Obviously one of the nicest people in wrestling.
Even though I miss him in WWE, he has the right to do what he wants
One of the best to ever step foot in that ring
He’s quite a Genius for not announcing it and as a result he was awarded with that unreal pop
Cesaro was always one of my favorites. Definitely underutilized and under appreciated and underrated… now, In aew thank God he’s free to just do his thing. Top guy imo!!!
He seems like one of those guys that if something happens at AEW/ROH and he leaves, he would probably be welcome anywhere.
His WWE run alone should show he's willing to put a ton of people over, and I feel like if he went back to WWE today, he could be a top guy (or more likely involved in the Brawling Brutes/Imperium fued, which would be badass)
Also he didn't bad mouth WWE he is like Danielson he just left because he wanted to do new things😀🙂
@@michaelrivera8360 I like when wrestlers who leave companies don’t bad mouth others, Bryan probably loved wwe but he accomplished so much so he just wanted to move on I guess
If you offered me The Bar vs Imperium, I'd buy a flight to the States to see it. Always thought the Bar should have run for much longer.
Guys like him and Bryan Danielson always seem humble. They always do the best with what they got and never seem to complain. Love them both
He'll never touch the world title in wwe unless he grows his character. He's very 1 dimensional and the mainstream audience won't care.
Modern Day Dean Malenko in my book amazing wrestler but underappreciated
He’s never injured anyone and he’s had some great matches not sure why wwe never gave him a push
One of my most favourite wrestlers. All the best with your future endeavours. Whatever path or career u choose u will smash it and be fricken awesome. Love and blessings are sent to you all the way from Melbourne Australia ❤🙏😘
kind of nice to see someone not bashing the place they just left. He had plenty of reasons to bash them for not using him to his fullest but he took the high road and you have to respect that
@@mr.iiconic so you're saying Claudio is a pushover?
Not constantly bitching about your former employer is being a professional not a pushover.
Moxley was in the biggest stable of the past decade and won the WWE championship, he has way less reason to bitch than Claudio does.
@@thebatmanwhoposts9600 Claudio is a standup guy (probably my favorite in the industry), I just used hyperbole to make a point. Maybe I'm just sick of this judgmental one fits all attitude. "This guy acted this way, so everyone else should and if not that's a damn shame!"
TL;DR there's nothing wrong with being more outspoken than any other given person. Claudio is Claudio, and Mox is Mox. Love them both, and I got nothing against you or your thoughts.
@@thebatmanwhoposts9600 and I disagree he has more reason. All of his gripes are wrestling related, WWE constantly threw Mox into personally uncomfortable situations like the things they asked him to say about Joe or (if I remember correctly) making his Renee Young thing an on screen plot point. Just sayin'.
Claudio danced around that what made you choice to leave question smoothly.
What a classy man. He shows us profession and maturity. Not sure if he should be in AEW or the AEW-owned company though.
Crazy his last year in wwe he finally got his wrestlemania moment and a title shot.
Didn't know he left, that man has strength and power like🔥
If only Vince had stepped down a little sooner. Ultimately Claudio traded Clash at the Castle for that shitty ladder match at All Out. And the ROH title is a joke, its like winning the WCW title during Invasion Era WWE. Feels bad, he definitely deserves better.
Forget the WCW title during the Invasion, the current ROH title is like the rebooted ECW championship in the late 2000s.
He's about as much a legit ROH champion as Ezekiel Jackson was ECW champion.
Hey Chris. Just wanted to say thank you for the work you do. I have been following you for a long time. You have not changed the way you engage your interviews even with you gaining massive popularity. Just wanted to say thanks for staying true to yourself. Keep up the great brother.
Would be nice to see him wrestle Ospreay at Wrestlekingdom coming up in January.
As much as I love his talent work and perseverance WWE is about entertainment stories and promos. I can't remember one time He was over as an entertainer or promo artist.
Fair play to him for not bad mouthing WWE on the media like other wrestlers who have left, but I'm very suprised he didn't let people know that he was leaving.
i don't watch much wrestling but this guy and ziggler were always entertaining as all hell and never seemed to get pushed very hard
Rip LandvogTV
That was the greatest thing all week :D
Honestly, even though he’s probably suuuuuper happy in AEW, I would love to see him come back to the WWE for one last run after his contract at AEW is up now that Triple H is running the business I could definitely see him finally getting that main event push he deserves.
Would be nice to see like a Drew Mcintyre comeback winning the royal rumble and beating the world champion at Wrestlemania.
Would love to see that too! But sadly, you're only going to push wrestlers one at a time to the main event scene. That's why having a good storyline or creative team is always better.
He will probably be in his late 40s by the time he’s a free agent. He’s not getting a main event push.
@@stujohn6569 but look at Bobby Lashley, he’s 46 and he was just champion earlier this year. So I wouldn’t completely rule it out.
Lashley is a much much much bigger draw and bigger star. Also, he is an absolute beast. So is cesaro but lashley is more beastly
I am not saying this Is like WCW vs WWF
But It makes wrestling so much more exciting when we have guys Jumping ship and they become a new version of themselves
Claudsario Is a legend

Cesaro is freaky strong in real life. Dylan aka hornschwoggle told me that i live in the same city as him and ran into him. He was the most polite nicest guy i ever met. Thanks for giving me a minute of your time dylan.
He’s very professional especially when wwe and Vince himself talked crap about him and when he was one of the best out there
What he said may be true, he’s being nice and respectful to wwe. It was the fact he was such an amazing talent and Vince never gave him a shot even though the fans clearly saw it
Classy, inside and outside the ring.
Wow Cesaro, you are NOT angry, bitter, or disappointed like *many fools who always burn their bridges with the WWE.*
This man never got the main event push he deserved. Him and Shamus were spectacular. Hoping he finds his way back to WWE now that daddy H has the creative control.
I've always liked him in wwe now he needs to win the AEW CHAMPIONSHIP AND I KNOW HE CAN WIN
See folks, Quiet quitting works!
He should come back and get a push, him vs Drew, Lashley and even getting to show his monster strength against strowman would be a win for fans.
A class act and a consummate professional
Now That Triple H Running Things, It’d Be Great For Him To Come Back
I really wish he had left WWE sooner and then he could of returned to a huge pop and hopefully show vince that the fans love him and he deserves a big push that lasts longer than a week. The guy is crazy talented and loved by everyone. Definitely underappteciated and underutilised.
he def didn’t wanna say i wasn’t booked right😭😭😭
One of my favourite wrestlers. I never realised why Vince never saw potential in him. I wish he would have stayed because he would have been used better by Triple H like he has done with Sheamus, Finn Balor now.
He should have been a champion at wwe
Me wondering where would Roman's career be if he wasn't from the Samoan family the only guy to be the face of the company and get boos says a lot
I hope he come back one day a match between him and Gunther would Slap
Wt hell when he mentioned the going out on your own horse I was thinking yoo watch him make shirts with that phrase and seconds after the interviewer says put it on a shirt
What a coincidence 😦
Now Vine out and Game running things love see he go back and win the world title at WWE
I have not seen him have a bad match, this man is amazing. Vince probable did not push him because he has an accent. Vince's rules were questionable
In the past decade alone Drew, Becky, Paige, Sheamus and Alberto Del Rio were all pushed and won the top championship in their divisions and were all from outside the US with strong accents.
The big difference between all of them and Cesaro is they all had way more charisma and personality than he does.
He can wrestle his ass off but at the end of the day it's all about entertainment, if you can't entertain people outside of th ring you're severely limited.
@@thebatmanwhoposts9600 exactly & this is what a lot people overlook & run with the “he wasn’t booked right or used right “

@@Tranceplant82 ROH doesn’t even exist anymore, it’s like talking about WCW after WWE purchased them. It’s a meaningless title for a non-existing company. Creating a show just for ROH isn’t going to make it ROH, it’s going to be AEW rampage part two.
@@Troy2Slick The WCW Title was very legit after WWF bought them. Most people preferred the Big Gold Belt if for no other reason than looks. Vince hates that & booked it out of the picture.
AEW has a different problem. Terrible booking from the start & too many titles all over the place. They didn't need an All Atlantic Title when one of the RoH belts would have worked as an underneath belt (see TV Title). So while smarks will mark out over the use of certain belts, & marks will mark out anyway, the average fan won't care or be able to keep up

Except Paul Heyman, nobody seems like to push him as a main eventer on WWE. I agree if he doesn't had any killing promo or mic skill, but his ring work is second to none.
And i really missed The Bar ..
he’s always gonna be one of my all-time faves both in and out of the ring. i appreciate that you can see him thinking about the best words to use when asked about why he decided to leave, so that he was getting his point across without directly blaming anyone, because at the end of the day, he’s grateful for what he got even if there was more he could’ve done or been that he knew he wasnt going to get at WWE anymore. it’s both smart, coz it keeps the doors open for any future returns (maybe he’d have more opportunities in a HHHx-run WWE, who knows), and also nice and classy of him.
God Bless Cesaro!!!!!!!

This wrestler deserved to be a wwe champion .

Claudio Castagnoli is his name...
Man, if only he stayed until now with Hunter head as creative
He could have been a top wwe wrestler right now. He had some matches with huge pops but wwe didnt capitalize on it.
Claudio mentioned horses. Hangman Adam Page and Claudio Castagnoli tag team confirmed 😂
Claudio is better off leaving WWE for AEW and obviously he benefited from as he won the ROH World Title and is a member of the Blackpool Combat Club . He was good in WWE but he'll never be WWE Champion as long as Reigns is the top guy . At least in AEW he can prove why he's 1 of the best in wrestling . May he have a long reign as ROH World Champion . Hopefully he can get a shot the AEW World Title or the TNT or All Atlantic Titles and dominate the competition for those belts . He did all he could do in WWE and obviously he wanted more . Good for him for making the move .
Imagine him vs Gunther
He is so naturally warm and charming, i wish he would develop more of a character and focus less on spots and moves....he should sit down with someone like Chris Jericho and Lord Regal, he has so much untapped potential in his personality.
A wise man once said cut the bs, it’s all about being appreciated & money
Doing a great job
I'm glad he is satisfied for now, one day he could return to WWE and be a bigger star. Some time away is good and he's doing well where he is now. So underused in WWE. ROH championship might not be a super big deal, but it's nice to see him with a belt around his waist.
Would be better if we had cesero vs Brock lesnar back in 2014 2015 with the Paul Heyman Guy Storyline
Cesaro has been one of the best workers in wrestling history... He could of stayed and had a legendary feud for the Intercontinental Championship with Gunther with multiple title changes...
I don't think Khan knows how to book and while I would bet on Cesaro myself... I'm not betting on Khan
Cesaro should been WWE world champion back in 2014-15
He'll be back.
Why everyone talking about him going back to the WWE. The WWE did not utilize him well when he was there. He should build himself up.

Cesaro is probably a nice guy backstage or real life but tv personality wise he just not 'it',and this is coming from a casual fan who watch handful of Cesaro wrestle since his chikara/roh/czw/noah days.
