After a 10 year break from skating I just got my new fr skates this week I was an aggressive skater but decided I just wanted to roll again and have fun. I took them out Tuesday morning for a hour and fell in love with rolling again went out later Tuesday night clipped my toe on a cross over turn broke my leg in three places and spent 4 days in hospital getting titanium rods in my leg. the fr skates were so smooth fast and felt like a great quality skate unfortunately I won’t be in them for some time now🤕anyway point of this story is to all the people starting skating again just take it easy start slow and have fun rolling

Oh man sorry to hear that. I took over a decade break too and just started this week. Good advise to take it slow. U must have went so fast to have such an injury. Speedy recovery.
I’m all fixed up probably 90% what I was don’t think I’ll ever be back to normal like before I broke my leg but for someone that used to skate handrails and vert ramps I’m literally scared to even skate around my local car park 😔 i think my skating days are done
@@8ballin882 sorry to hear that man. Understand how u feel. I used to jump ard my skates alot too. Now even stair bashing is a scary thing to do for me. Haha. Hope ull overcome ur fear soon and start to roll ard again.
