One of my favorite scenes out of all of the movies every created when Steve Martin sticks his head out the car window and says " the shoes right, the shoes are tragic "
The shoes are TRAGIC! Probably one of my favorite movies of all time. If you want another great comedy, see "City Island" with Andy Garcia. Another great movie!
I Love this movie.Seen it plenty of times and never get bored of it.A woman directed this movie i think. She has done a super job.Steve Martins's best performance. THE SHOES ARE TRAGIC.
town i grew up in lol...... That city hall building took quite a bit of damage few years ago in a earthquake. They had it basically shutdown for like 5 years. Right behind it is the JR high school and to the left (when they drive off you can see the middle school. Went to both of them. Remember when this was being filmed. Signed up to be a extra/etc didn't get called. But a friend of mine got to rid around on a bike lol. Funny thing is..I have never actually seen this movie.
Sorry to inform you all who think theirs a sequel to a sequel..there isn't..goodfellas is goodfellas and my blue heaven is mbh..both movies only play the same infamous..thats it..
of course it's an exaggeration of a NYC Italian/American, it's a movie. growing up in the 60's and 70's I have heard similar speech patterns. It's an old NYC thing, though not common today. As an Italian immigrant, I have a sense of humor it's not for everyone. What does bother me is the trouble and "out rage" people feel they have to express or the world will out of balance. If I don't care for something I just scroll by.
"You gotta do better than that or you're gonna lose the argument."
I'm using this for the rest of my life

I’m Sicilian and Italian , shoes are everything to us!!!
You're a good lookin girl...except for those Army Shoes...no wonder he split...🤣🤣
“The shoes, right?! The shoes are TRAGIC!”
Never gets old.
All this talk of shoes. Is Vinnie trying to doll her up so she makes herself more attractive for Barney?
Even funnier than the first 1000x I saw it 😂

“My name is Todd it’s Italian for extra special”
Always had a thing for Joan Cusack
She's really beautiful in this movie.
I Love Rick Morains
Rick Moranis is my real brother
Steve Martin taught uptight Rick Moranis how to get his balls rightfully in place around crush relationship with Joan Cusack character. 🤔😃😎
The way he puts his hands by his side and shrugs his shoulders. Lmao
I Love this movie.Seen it plenty of times and never get bored of it.A woman directed this movie i think. She has done a super job.Steve Martins's best performance.
THE SHOES ARE TRAGIC.
I think it was Penny Marshall. "Lavern" from the show Larvern And Shirley
This was directed by Herbert Ross, who also directed Footloose. However, it was written by Nora Ephron, most well-known for When Harry Met Sally.
I've seen it more than once. In fact,I've seen it so many times I'm running out of room to put the copies.
Awful, its such a caricature of an Italian, no Italian Americans talk like Steve Martian. I guarantee this will not age well
@@AnthonyMichaelAMguitar its a comedy lol.
Why did only 67% of the people like this scene? There were quite a few hilarious moments in this 3 min segment. Oh, well....you can't please everyone!
Ya know its dangerous for you to be in the frozen food section?
Why?
Cause you could melt all this stuff.
That was one great pick up line.
I disagree. She was very good in this movie. She is a very talented actress.
Notice the minute Joan Cussack sees Rick Moranis , she gets chills on her neck. Very subtle.
Not really subtle but still good

No. I'm 33 and starting to think I'm defective for that.
Yeah, my husband. He makes me wet when he comes into a room.
One of my favorite scenes in this movie.
lol. you gotta do better than that or you're gonna lose the argument.
His new York accent was spot on.
Quintin Tarantino talks shoes far less than Vinnie.

Never insult a lady's footwear.
Best movie ever
Promise you won’t do it again
🤚 I didn’t do anything in the first place which is what I was trying to explain!
Great scene
oh really, ohhh really!
Moranis is the most believable FBI Agent in movie history. Martin, not so much.
...and now he’s an ordinary shnook.
Anyone have a link to the Halloween scene?
This is in Atascadero California
Unfortunately the video is breaking up, about 15 seconds in it goes to an all black screen, too bad, so sad.
Sorry to inform you all who think theirs a sequel to a sequel..there isn't..goodfellas is goodfellas and my blue heaven is mbh..both movies only play the same infamous..thats it..

I liked the Police Woman better in Car Wash.
When does he eat the egg noodles with ketchup?
+THENINTENDOLUMINARY That was Goodfellas.
he talked about eating it while in witness protection in goodfellas so he should have been shown eating it in this movie

2;13 - :17 Talk about 'bad' listening skills.
3:09 is something I would ask my sister if I were brave enough.
you better do better than that or your going to lose
Gawd Joan Cusak is cringey acting
I remember when this first came out. I did not find it funny then, and I don't find it funny now.
