yeah I think it's a glitch related to skipping his story in the options menu, not really sure though
Crazy to think I got these phases first try, but Rufus took me like 10
I think Rufus is hardest boss both in remake and rebirth 😅

I gave Barret Gotterdammerung to do quick and heavy damage to the core, but it's not essential since Yuffie can take it out pretty quickly anyway

It's also worth giving Barret, Red and Yuffie all the different elemental spells just in case you miss the chance to take out the wings with Fire alone.
How did you get Zack to change into his injured character model? I've never seen that in this fight before and to my knowledge, shouldn't be possible?
I'm not sure, I think it has something to do with choosing to skip Zack's story in the options menu, it somehow bugs his model or stops it updating between scenes.
