Just picked up a washing machine after watching this video. Got a 700 dollar machine for 40 dollars. Did this exact thing and there was a child's sock stuck in the pump. Works good as new now. Thanks!

This trick works, I was ready to scrap my Samsung machine I paid $1200 for a year ago. I had to suck out the drain hose 2 times , when I did an earplug came out which was plugging the drain

wow i was scared at first bc when i went in laundry room i smelled burned smell. I bought this washer less than a year ago new. thought the motor burnt out and nothing would spin or drain. This seem to be the very different but useful video of entire CZcams when it comes to Washer Not Draining Error Code 5e (Samsung Front Loader)! We tried everything and searched for quite a while till stumble upon this trick!
Wet Vacuum creates enough suction force to drain your washer and removes everything that was in the draining system. We did it with machine showing 5e code without unplugging and it took right off into spinning and draining ! Performed 2 wash cycles following the same practice by helping system to drain with a wet vacuum connected to the hose..
And then machine can’t do it on its own! Water is draining when you connect to the vacuum, cycles are switching so at this moment we are ordering pump and will see if this will fix it! I’ll update as it comes and we install it…

worked for me mine was draining but not spinning so I tried your method out and didn't work so i tried again and this time I was spinning the drum manually and then I ran a self test and it worked thanks again

Mine wasn’t filling up with water and I replaced the inlet valve but it’s still didn’t work. Ran a test and it was giving me a 5C error which it means it wasn’t draining. It drained during the test but it won’t do the spin test and I was running out of ideas until I stumbled on your video. You saved the day for me buddy. Thank you very much!!!

After I suctioned my hose. I put my washer on rinse and spin cycle. It delayed working but I waited a few minutes and it started right up!! Thank you again

I have to thank you also. There are tons of fixes for the front-loading machines but little to solve this problem with top loaders. It took me an hour to find your video but only 5 minutes with my wet vac to solve the problem. Thanks for the video. I checked my drain pipe is not clogged. My machine runs all cycles but gets stuck on Spin. I have an error code of 3c3. Can you please suggest further corrective measures?
Welp this didn't fix my issue by removing a clog. But it worked great with getting most of the water out by creating a siphon.

I did it and managed to make 1 wash afterwards. But at the 2nd wash it stopped again. And now only gives me error code nd (not draining)...could it be still dirty?
wouldnt loose a thing to try the wet to dry vac again this time hold the vac for a little longer till the clog clears out. i had to hold mine a little longer before all dirt and clogs are completely pulled out

A strong wet to dry vac would normally solve that problem, If you've done what this vid tells you and it didnt work, then you'll have to take the pump apart
I could hear mine draining. Followed Samsung's directions with leveling mine and it spins again.

try unscrewing the agitator there may be debris underneath it
